Story
Tully is a....distantly affectionate cat. She wants to be around you and get some cuddle time, but it has to be on her terms. She can be playful if she finds a twist tie or a hair binder, and she will be vocal when she believes it’s time to eat. She’s a very sweet cat, but she just doesn’t get the love and attention she deserves from me. I’m recently divorced, and our dog and other cat went with the ex, so it’s pretty quiet around here anymore.

Story
Four little kittens were found in a window well: Moscato, Nero, Brix, and Malo. (That’s the second time this year a feral mother has left her kittens in someone’s windowell! And no, these were not the same homes.) The finders were unable to locate their mother. However, Jemma, who is nursing her own four, was quite willing to take on these as well. She is back from foster and at the shelter just for that job. These kittens are about at that age that they can start to eat on their own, so should hopefully not be too taxing on Jemma.Born appx. May 1, 2019. Ready to go after June 19, 2019.They will be spayed/neutered* and will be updated on their vaccines as a part of their adoption fee. They have also received dewormings, been treated topically with a flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), tested negative for feline leukemia, had a negative fecal float to test for internal parasites, and have had a medicated/antifungal bath.*Kittens who are not yet old enough at the time of adoption will be spayed/neutered as a part of the adoption fee when they reach an appropriate age. The adopter needs to bring the kitten back to our partnering vet, Riverside Animal Clinic in Redwood Falls. The adoption fee covers their spay/neuter as long as it’s done through this specific vet. (We do not cover the spay/neuter if done at a non-partnering veterinarian.)If you are interested in adopting, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853, or else stop in during open hours, no appointment necessary, and meet them: M-F 2-6 and Sat 10-Noon. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, you are welcome to come play with the kitties and help socialize them!
