About 4 years ago I was asked by a friend who had fallen on hard times to care for his cat for a few months while he got back on his feet. Turns out he completely disappeared and I haven't heard from him since. I have had the cat illeagally in my apartment since then and have been able to keep her hiden well. Recently my landlord discovered my secret and is very angry. He has given me afew options, but none of them are affordable to me at this time. I love Lola, my cat, and want the best for her, but the truth is we have never bonded as I would have liked by now. At this point I am not willing to move or take on the expense of the monthly fee for keeping her here that my landlord offered. I don't think Lola is living her best life. I feel like there is someone out there who is much better suited to take care of her. She is an indoor cat, litter box trained, very independent, and kind of moody. She's overweight and I believe underactive. Please help me!

Duke is the sweetest boy you could ever find, he may be timid at first but once you get to know him, he will be your best friend, give your best hugs and kisses, and funniest meeps. He is about 8-9 months old and was rescued on Christmas Day last year when he was still a kitten. I adopted from CLAWS whose responsible pet rescue team took him in for vaccines and checkups. I’m looking for kind and experienced adopters who would take good care of my baby along with his big sister. He loves pets and enjoys play feathers, he trust his hoomans 100% and always is a good boy. Scout is a 10 month girl, after we adopted her with Duke, we found that she is deaf, due to an infection when she was out on the street. That makes her just a little more special and it doesn’t stop her from anything. She is a chubby little fur ball who enjoys naps with her brother and asks for pets when she wakes up. She has adorable meows as she can’t hear herself and doesn’t know how cute it is.

It took a while for me to break ice with Scout. I adopted her with Duke from CLAWS, the lady who rescued her was a school teacher and found her by the dumpster at her school. She was bullied by the kids, plus she is deaf so she was pretty easily scared. But oh was it worth it. She is so chubby and cute and beautiful, and always makes us laugh with his meows and clumsiness. She wags her tail and shows you her butt when demanding pets. She loves her little brother and would groom him when he wakes up. She is still cautious but she has so much more trust for hoomans than before, and knowing where she came from, it means a world for us when she gives her love and trust. We are heartbreaking that we had to leave them. We are moving to Japan on a very short notice, and Japan has the most stringent animal import policies that there is just no way we can bring them with us. I am looking for a family that could provide as much love and comfort as we do, as they are very dear to our hearts.

Archie has been part of our family for 14 years, we got him as a rescue when he was 1. He is currently 15 years old, loves attention and still moves well for his age. Whether you're laying in bed or sitting on the couch watching TV or reading the paper, he will always come and sit next to you for attention. Caring and loving, he always seems to know when you're having a bad day and tries to make you smile by chasing something or rubbing his head against yours. Unfortunately, my father is moving to an assisted living facility and is no longer capable of taking care of him and giving him the attention he deserves. The complex I currently reside in does not allow pets and my father's house is in the final stages of being sold. I know he's on the older side, but I do not want to give him to a shelter as I know older cats do not last long in shelters. I would love to put him in a loving home that will give him the attention he deserves and let him live out the last of his days.

Ernestine was rescued from a dangerous courtyard in Harlem where all the cats were sadly being poisoned. But lucky Ernestine and her brother Franklin were rescued and saved! She is a beautiful, easy going, and sweet girl. She loves other cats and loves to play! She is a bit shy and needs an experienced adopter. She is also very bonded to her brother and we would like to keep them together.
