Nina is actually one of 6 black cats owned by a local woman. We presently have 3 of them. Nina and her siblings were very well cared for but very shy. They have come a long way and Nina is actually pretty friendly now. She needs someone who'll give her time to readjust. She is about 2 years of age and her siblings Bello and Gianni are also with us. Nina is a beautiful kitty and does enjoy the company of other cats. She is an indoor kitty.

Nakita came to us as a kitten absolutely terrified....we don't know why. She was found in the Village of Goshen. For the first 6 months she was completely unapproachable. Today she is a completely different cat and you can now pet her and she absolutely loves to hang out with the cats. You can often see her hanging out with a group of 3 or 4 black cats and then there is Nakita. For a cat that was absolutely petrified of her own shadow, she is finally a an almost normal kitty. Definitely worth getting to know. Beautiful girl who just wants to be understood.

Yoda came to us as a stray and initially was not approachable, but as time goes by and our cats learn to trust, so has Yoda. Yoda is also quite the talker. He needs someone who is going to be patient and give him time to readjust to a new environment. He learned to trust inside the shelter and once he has a new home, hopefully he will readjust. He will need a family that doesn’t put time restraints on his adjusting. He will probably do better in a quiet environment. He likes his “spots” where he can hide or feel safe. He really is a sweet boy. Just needs someone who’ll understand him. Super cute!

Blu was adopted from our shelter about a 18 months ago with his sibling Dusty. They were doing great until the owner moved. The landlord agreed they could come until she smelled litter in the garbage and then it was “THEY HAVE TO GO!!” She tried to rehome them, but the landlord gave her no time. We would love for these 2 to be together as they started off as older kittens in the shelter....rescued from behind Sterling Bank in Goshen which is where there has been a colony of cats for the past couple of decades. A little shy, they just need someone who’ll give them time and space to readjust. Both are larger kitties.

Dusty was adopted from our shelter about a year ago with his sibling Blu. They were doing great until the owner moved. The landlord agreed they could come until she smelled litter in the garbage and then it was “THEY HAVE TO GO!!” She tried to rehome them, but the landlord gave her no time. We would love for these 2 to be together as they started off as older kittens in the shelter....rescued from behind Sterling Bank in Goshen. They just need someone who’ll give them time to readjust. They came so far in their new home and we don’t want to see them go backwards. Indoor kitties only.
