Story

Ichabod came to the shelter as a supposed stray cat a few days before Halloween. He seemed to be very frightened and testy with the staff upon arrival, but has since settled in to the shelter routines. Ichabod is 1-2 years old, and is now neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. He is already coming around and understanding that the staff only wants to take care of him. He LOVES catnip and will roll in it for hours, and hops around chasing toys and the laser pointer. Ichabod also is very talkative and loves the positive attention he is getting. He does like to "poke" people, so we think he will be happiest in a home without young children. If you are interested in giving this beautiful boy a home, please fill out an adoption application!

I am a shy cat that was found living outdoors in a feral cat colony with my best feline friend Rhonda. I have adjusted to living indoors, but I am still very shy around people. I love hanging out with other cats and spend a lot of time on the enclosed cat porch here at the shelter. I will need a quiet home where I can live an independent life, and I would be very happy if I could be adopted with Rhonda so we can be together forever. Griffin is 4 years old and is a bit shy, but loves treats and lives peacefully with most cats. He currently lives in our visiting room with a group of other cats that he is bonded with. A good match for him would be a quiet home environment with other cats. It may take him a little time to adjust to a new home, and having other cats around would make him more comfortable. He likes hanging out on cat trees or our enclosed cat porch, chasing toys around and napping in comfy cat beds. Griffin is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.
