Story
Kindi is a spayed female cat, probably born 2016 or 2017.  She was found with a litter of kittens in a grain car near the Kindred elevator.  The kittens tamed down nicely and are adopted, but Kindi is a little selective about who she trusts.  Open houses with lots of people are overwhelming for her, but one-on-one, she can enjoy gentle pets on her head and neck, cheek rubs and she loves to be told how beautiful she is (in a low, purring voice).  She went from being pretty close to feral to being willing to eating off a fork while being petted in just 4 weeks, which is pretty amazing.  She has been working with Beth, our behavior specialist and is now high-fiving and will crawl on and off of laps (or sit for awhile) if she gets canned food treats.  She is making great strides in learning to trust humans, but she's not 100% there yet.  If you are interested in Kindi, please come early or call us at 701-356-7877 to make arrangements to meet her outside of open house hours.

Story
For more information about adopting this animal from us, please click here. Do you like quirky attitudes? How do you feel about a one of a kind cat? My name is Sassy, and I'm a 2 year old lovely lady, that lives up to my name. I've heard people call me a ''Cat-zilla'' and I don't know what they're playing at. I'm a nice girl, I just like things the way I like them, and if you have the audacity to mess that up, you're gonna hear about it. I'm really a fun girl, who likes to play, and who likes to have the run of the house. I'm not the kind that wants to share my reigning authority.I need to be the only cat, because one house can't have two queens, it just doesn't work that way. I also am a bit too sassy for kids under the age of 13, so older kids only please! I'm a sassy queen of a cat, just looking for my perfect admirer to come and find me!..All animals are current on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption. Story
Odee is a spayed female cat, probably born fall 2018.  She's a little intimidated sharing space with a whole colony of other cats.  She tends to hang out in wall boxes or under the room bench as if she's shy, but when people wiggle their fingers at her, she'll come forward immediately and wants her face rubbed or her ears scratched.  So she's not shy with people, just a little uncertain how other cats are going to behave.  Odee would be a great choice for a one-cat family OR possibly with a kitten she could nurture and raise.  She's got a really big heart.

Story

My name is Nix, and I'm a chatty, 5 year old lover with a heart of gold and a fur of black! I'm charming and lovable too, so there's really nothing you won't love about me! I'm a relaxed type of guy who knows how to relax and how to soak up all the affection you've got for me. I am still a fun guy too, so I'm really the best of both worlds, I love to chase feather toys around and be silly. I am Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) positive, but don't let that scare you away, it won't change my lifespan, and I can live with other cats too as long as they are as cat friendly as I am!I am cat and kid friendly, so come and meet me today!
