Story

I’ve cared for Virginia since December 2015. He’s a really great cat. He is super affectionate. I always say he’s like a dog, because I any other cat I’ve known is always hiding in a closet but not Virginia. I started a small business last year and work full time so I’m barely home, and he’s a very needy and affectionate cat. I’ll be moving out of state sometime next year for grad school and have decided the most responsible decision is to rehome him. He used to live with 4 other cats before he was rehomed with me so I’m sure as long as he’s introduced we’ll, he’d get along with other cats. Since he’s so social, that’d probably be good for him! He meows a lot. I’ve tried to train him out of this habit, but haven’t tried for some time and admit that I may not have been the best at it. I’m sure it’s possible to get him to meow less, and more attention would surely help!

Holmes is a stray cat that I found wandering our neighborhood. We couldn't locate a previous owner, so we don't know much about his past. We think he is about two years old. He has been living with me in my home for the last few days, but my neighbor and I have been feeding him for about a month. He is very loving, playful and talkative! When he came in, he allowed us to trim his nails and give him a bath without a struggle. He is so full of love and deserves a loving home. He will be neutered and vaccinated next week. After he recovers, he will be ready to go! If you are interested in meeting him, please let me know.

Oden came from a family members home due to other circumstances. He is a 2-3 yr old male orange tabby, neutered and has all his claws. Always been an indoor cat, but is afraid of our bigger dogs which is why we are unable to keep him. He does well with our two female cats and smaller dogs (still a little unsure about them, but doesn't run from them), but the one dog can jump baby gates so it's been difficult keeping everyone separated and it's not fair to keep the basement door shut all the time or keep him locked in a room until we are home to let him out. He deserves better than that. Downside is he came to us with fleas, which we didn't realize and so we've been treating him (and our other animals) with Frontline, along with flea baths and flea combs. Hoping as the weather gets colder this "battle" gets easier as we've never had to deal with this in our household before. He's loving and playful, but there is more to his potential than what he's able to show in our home.

Charlie is a loving 7 year old tabby. She was found in the backyard when she was just a kitten. She has lived with cats before and as long as they are introduced properly she will get alone fine with other cats. She's loves attention and play time. I am looking for someone who has had cats before. Someone who is looking for a loving cat.
