OUR TIME IS IN SHORT SUPPLY AND WE APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF ONTARIO ********************************************************************************************** WHY IS THIS CAT IN NEED??- She has lived within her home for a year- but the existing cats have not welcomed her, and she is too stressed out. Her owner has asked us to help find her a pet free home. Sh has been surrendered to rescue. She will be fully vetted before adoption. Adoption Fee $100 WHERE IS THIS CAT NOW ?- Cambridge area **ALL ABOUT KITTY ** Requirements for Kitty -No dogs/ cats -pet free home- as is highly stressed from being a target. -indoor only -older children that are respectful -exp owner with scared cats - that need/ take time to settled and bond. Kitty has had a rough start to life. Her original owner found her as a stray and it took many months to finally trap her. She had no chip, no owners were found. She was fully vetted and ear tipped. She lives in a very quiet home with adults- and 2 older children that give her all the space she needs and not not invade her space when she is clearly not interested. She does not live with dogs and is NOT used too dogs. It was a very/slow process to gain Kitty's trust but it has not been a year.. and she loves her mom!! INFO FROM CARE-GIVER : If you can believe it, it’ll be a year since I trapped kitty in a couple weeks! And I’m sort of at a fork in the road. Over this year kitty has grown into the most loving, sweet pet. She’s my ♥️. I just love her so much. The problem is, I’ve not been able to socialize her with the other cats. There’s been more than one attack that ended in bite wounds for Kitty and although I keep trying I can’t seem to intergrate everyone. So I have a divided house. Which I could deal with. But, with my hectic life I am only able to manage a few hours a day with her, or I sleep downstairs to be with her. She’s so sweet when I’m there, she’s so happy she drools as she purrs and runs her nose on my face. It’s really heartwarming! And this is my problem, I want her to be free to roam and have contact with the family all the time. I think about she must hear us upstairs and wish she had the companionship, but she shows no interest in coming up (prob because she’s scared of my cats). So, I decided I needed to find her a home, which I’ve been debating for some time. The thing is, I feel like she needs a quiet pet free home to call her own, but I’m sure it’s hard to find a patient pet lover who has no pets! More info to come on her. We welcome your application for consideration . ********************************************************************************************** *** HOW IT WORKS - ADOPTION INFORMATION **** Please read ** ALL** the information provided below on the process to save time and facilitate the process in a smooth manner. The adoption fee does NOT cover the cost of vetting or supplies for these animals - If you cannot afford the adoption fee (that is a fraction of actual REDUCED VETTING expenses incurred) then you should reconsider adopting. These animals deserve forever homes, good food, regular vet care, and emergency care as needed. Pets should never be euthanized by their owners simply based on financial consideration when something goes wrong. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue pet.!!
