I recused Norma when she was about a yr old. She was going to be returned to the shelter where someone had orginally got her. I did not want to see her put down so I brought her home. My kids of course begged me that they would care for her and here we are a few yrs later and they treat her as a after thought. They do not want to do even the basic needs for her. She is a somewhat shy kitty dosen't need a whole lot of attention like most cats. She is pretty calm and chill. Her favorite is to lay by a window bird watching, sleeping and eating. She lives the life we would all like to have lol. I am returning to work after being of for quite some time due to a Achilles injury and I have so much going on right now I'm mentally exhausted and I don't have the time to give her what she truly deserves. She would be great for a couple who wants a pet that dosen't require a buttload of attention. When we rescued her she was with other cats but has never been near dogs. She needs a loving home.

Mossy is a 4 year old (est birthday August 4, 2015) domestic short haired cat. I had her since she was one month old. She is fixed, still has her claws. When she was 3 years old I adopted a male 8 month old kitten, Cheddar. They have never fought, however Mossy does not like to play with him and runs away from him. Mossy is litter trained, however after a about a month of adopting Cheddar she would mark her territory. I used to have a German wire haired pointer, who she was afraid of and would hide in closet for hours. I also have a 3 year old child who she runs away from. She does let me pet her and brush her, and she loves cat treats (cries for them!) But she only likes to come out when the environment is calm. I had mossy before my child and any other animals and she was fine, no problems. I feel Mossy would do best in a home without any other animals or young children and I am hoping I can find her a great home!

Shes a beautiful cat. Shes big but her fur is the softest I've ever felt in my life. She just doesn't get along with my grandson. I really don't understand it. From day 1 she just didnt like him. This of course is my problem.
