Story
Purr is a 3 year old neutered boy who has been around dogs, children, and other cats his entire life. Which unfortunately is also the reason for his rehoming. Living where I do, there is a large number of feral cats around from a farm down the way(which I am trapping and having fixed )and now it's tough to keep him inside the house. He has become the Houdini of the door. He appears from nowhere and poof he is out. Needless to say, I live on a very busy street from which I have recovered numerous feral bodies and do not want to see it happen to my beloved purr kitten. The final deciding factor on my rehoming of him is that he has lived with pitbulls and cane corsos his entire life. I have deer and coyote in my yard and would hate for him to think it's okay to go up to them and snuggle like he does with mine. My heartbreak is for his own good. He will make an awesome catdog for anyone who wants a huge cat that will drink from the faucet and sleep in the bathroom sink.

Story
I adopted Bodhi from the WHS on 1/30. They could only tell me he was approx. 4 yrs, and was a transfer in from MADACC. He had only been at WHS one day. He was a pretty chill dude in his cat condo-laying on top of his cat tree. He soaked up the pets & head/ear scratches. He came home and claimed the couch, and slept on my bed with me the first night :) My parents were visiting w/their cat for a few days when I brought him 'home' - the cats didn't get along :( I didn't think too much of it since they only had a few days to get to know each other. I had him alone for a week after they left, and he was much more relaxed :) I then brought home a kitten, which I was in the process of adopting when I got Bodhi. He has been so stressed! It's been 4 wks, and it isn't getting better. Currently, I need to keep them separated but this is not a viable long-term solution. I’m sure he’d be an awesome cat in home with 0 other pets; he prefers a quiet place with his person/people.

Story
Hello: We are looking to rehome Boots (Bootsie) she is approximately 11 years old. She was a feral cat and was taken in as a kitten. She used to have the run of the house (along with other cats) but now the other cats are gone and we've had two babies and she is relegated to one room in our home. She is not happy and we feel she would do much better without our zoo of a dog and two babies bothering her.

Nellie very loving and likes to snuggle on your shoulder. She is 13 years old and well behaved and she gets along with our dog well. We have had litter box issues over the last few years and a member of our family has health issues that will not allow us to keep her any longer because of that

Story
A neighbor was selling kittens from her cats litter. We took two. At first everything was fine and the two kittens were inseparable. Now they are 14 months old posie is jealous of her brother and does not want to share her owner with him. She hisses at him when he comes by us. She needs a home where she is the only cat. And can be queen of the house.
