Conrad is a handsome ginger guy weighing in at about 45 lbs. He isn't quite as furry as a typical Chow and has a lovely curled tail that makes him look like a mini Akita. As typical of many primitive breeds, he can be aloof or uncomfortable with strangers and it is important to earn his trust. Once you do, you will have a loyal friend for life. He would do best in an adult only home that is familiar with Chows or Shar-Peis. We would describe him as selective with other dogs so if you have another dog, a meet and greet is important. Hello, My dog's name is Harry, he is 13 years old. He is very nice to people, enjoys attention, very cute, charismatic, and likes to be comfy, and an awesome dog.We got Harry a month ago when I visited my sister in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. I decided to get Harry because my sister 4 years ago gave birth to her daughter which has special needs, since the birth of her daughter they stopped taking Harry on they stopped taking him on walks and they stopped taking good care of him (which I wasn't aware of). He lived in their backyard since they got him thirteenth years ago but Mexicali's weather is very bad to have a pet live outside because the temperatures in the summer can reach up to 119 degrees and in winter they can do down to 26 degrees and they told me that for the most part he lived outside which is insane(unacceptable). What I'm looking for in a home for Harry is preferably a family with no kids or a person with no other dogs or cats who would take very good care of him.
