Coal is the sweetest, most calm and quiet sidekick you could ever ask for. Coal will have to be in the rescue for a few months, but would love to go into our foster to adopt program where you get him settled into your home so during his heartworm treatment he is calm and comfortable with his environment.  Coal is great around other dogs, people, and doesn't seem to mind older kids. No cats for this guy, unless you can work on slow introductions over time.  Due to the mass amount of inquiries on petfinder and adoptapet please know that we cannot get to every single email in a timely manner.
