Story
Meet Sunday! She is a gorgeous, 9 y.o. Cocker Spaniel in need of a hospice forever home. Sunday has a condition called Sick Sinus syndrome (see below). She will be on medication to keep her comfortable as long as she has quality of life...could be a few months, a few years, her cardiologist cannot say for sure. So far she is doing really well on her meds and learning a lot from the resident dog in her foster home. Right now she needs a place to rest, enjoy yummy food and gets lots of love & papmering, something she has never known until now. She is a very sweet girl, but can be skittish at times. She just needs a family to continue to show her what love and having a family of her own is all about. She has also improved so much with house training, as long as she is taken out routinely. Story
Blackjack is one lucky little dude. As a 12 year old dog he landed in a high kill shelter in horrific condition. His fur was matted to his skin, he had bilateral cherry eyes, and his toe nails were completely curled under. It was clear that this older gentleman had suffered terrible neglect. After 1 year in a foster home Blackjack looks like an entirely different dog. As a result of the years of neglect, he does have some ongoing medical needs that require daily care. But this boy has so much life and love left to give. He’s good with other dogs. He ignores cats. He loves anyone who will take him on a walk, give him pets, or offer him a treat. He loves car rides and has excellent manners. Blackjack would love a family of his own to live out his Golden Days. Transport runs to Middle Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Story
I want to start off with this is breaking my heart. But unfortunately as time has passed Gnasher has grown to have little tolerance for our other dogs. And he doesn’t much like our children either. He’s not a huge cuddler ( he likes to get his love then sit at your feet). He also isn’t fond of pet beds (he pees on them) he’s a great walker but he DOES NOT like car (barks at them) he loves toys that squeak. Doesn’t do well with hard treats (can’t quite chew them) he will be three years old in Dec. up here nail now he has lived with 3 kids and 3 other dogs. I don’t want to do this but I feel he might actually be happier in a home that is child and pet free. For shots he just needs his rabies updated. Which I of course could do if needed. He can’t from a family of an unintended litter. He has slight epilepsy. So he will have a occasional short seizure but the vet has never required meds for it. If I do not find a home he has to go to a shelter for the safety of my other pets.
