Let the Salad Litter keep you healthy! Carrot, Cucumber, Tomato, Avocado, Crouton, Iceberg, Romaine, Sprout, Bacon Bits, and Feta are more than happy to keep you active while they curiously run around the backyard, noses to the ground, venturing in an around every tree and plant you have! They chase each other uphill and trip over their feet as they run down hill. The Salad Litter keeps their foster families entertained with their silly puppy antics and big ears flopping in the wind. These cuties were found abandoned on the side of the road in a giant box out in a rural area south of San Antonio so we never saw mom or dad. Some are bigger, some are smaller, some have curly coats, some have shorter coats, but all have super soft and a bit fluffy coats! They are a mesh of a Dr. Seuss rhyme and we love it! Because they are all so different looking, we cannot guarantee the sizes they will be- keep this in mind when looking to adopt one of these cuties. If you’re looking for a fun-loving puppy to raise. you can't go wrong with any of these silly, playful, and adorable pups! Fill out an application today at www.snipsa.org!

We adopted Tiki from the Animal Defense League about 2 years ago and we love her but or newest granddaughter has been diagnosed with a skin disorder that is very sensitive to dog and cat exposure. We need to re-home Tiki asap so our granddaughter won't break out in bleeding blisters after she stays with us.

Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
This special girl was rescued out of a greenbelt ditch with her sisters. Semi-feral and scared to death, they were eventually caught and brought to us. All pups would not let us touch them for the first few weeks, then progress began. Not trusting of humans they need a special home; experienced with feral dogs, quiet, no kids, not alot of visitors or sudden changes. Issa may never recover from the trauma she experienced in that ditch but that doesn't mean she does not deserve to find her forever home. She is not a normal dog- just speical. She needs to trust her person and not be expected to be perfect, affectionate or play. She walks well on a leash, loves other dogs, loves toys and blankets, and would love to be just be a dog. If you have the patience and love Issa needs give us a call, she may never be that snuggly, go-fetch girl but she is very goofy in her own way.

This special girl was rescued out of a greenbelt ditch with her sisters. Semi-feral and scared to death, they were eventually caught and brought to us. All pups would not let us touch them for the first few weeks, then progress began. Not 100% trusting of humans so a special home is needed; experienced with feral dogs, quiet, no kids, not alot of visitors or sudden changes. Reyna needs to trust her person and not be expected to be perfect. She is a flight risk. New things, new noises and people make her a uneasy. She gives great hugs and kisses to our staff but that is after 3 years of rehab. She walks well on a leash, loves other dogs, loves toys and blankets, and would love to be in a home to keep her safe. Story
This sweet boy was pulled from death row at animal control. He and his sister didn't have much time left. Vinnie has a very kind personality, shy at first but then very affectionate when he gets to know you. He was a bit frightened of being touched or held by staff here when he first arrived, but he has warmed up and now loves to be hugged and give kisses. We assume he did not receive much affection or care, if at all, but now he is just waiting on his forever home to love. Vinnie does like other dogs, loves toys, seems to be crate trained and house trained. Vinnie is a great boy, with so much potential in the right home, he would probably do best in a quiet home without very small children. We hope that you will give him a chance.
