Bypass is a hound mix who was captured after many weeks on the run along the bypass near Des Moines, Iowa (where his name comes from). He is learning to walk on a leash, and can still be a skittish flight-risk. For that reason, a secure, tall fence is suggested, so he can run off some energy safely. He will require someone who has the time and patience to help this sweet boy learn the ways of living in a home. He is slowly learning potty training, and gets along with other dogs, and cats most of the time. Bypass would like to find his own family to call home, and has a lot of love to give.
