*** THIS IS NOT A DARS ANIMAL.  PLEASE CONTACT THROUGH THE NUMBER LISTED BELOW.  ***Hello, I have an 8 year old coon hound mix that I need to have re-homed. We found her in our driveway years ago, and tried to find out where she belonged. After a few days, we took her to the vet and he said that she was too young to be away from her mother and that she also had parvo.By then my husband had fallen in love with her and told the vet to do whatever was possible to save her. My husband passed away two years ago and she’s had trouble adjusting. She recently snapped at two visitors in my home and with toddler-aged grandchildren who are terrified of her, I am afraid of a serious accident. I have tried everything, including sending her to Critter Camp for two weeks training. The trainer said that she could tell that Lady was very alert and smart, but used to being around a male.  She knows most commands, but is also very stubborn at times. She loves being outside, especially when it rains. She does not like doghouses, but prefers being on a covered porch or in an open shed .Lady is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heart-worm negative and spayed. Please help me find her a good home.
