Boone, estimated to be around two years old, was rescued from the streets in a dire condition, but with love and care, he's now thriving - well-fed, neutered, and fully vaccinated. However, despite my affection for him, as a full-time graduate student and worker with limited financial resources, I've realized that I cannot provide Boone with the life he deserves. Thus, I'm seeking a loving home where he can flourish. Boone is affectionate and craves attention. He's particularly eager to please and gets along famously with other dogs and children. While he's made significant progress in his indoor potty training, he may still have occasional accidents if given too much water and tends to explore the trash when not crated. Speaking of which, he's crate trained and manages separation well, although he may display some initial anxiety when parted from his closest companions. If you have the time, space, and love to give, please consider welcoming Boone into your home. He's a wonderful companion who deserves the best. If interested, please reach out via email or text. He is almost 1 now! He's grown up to be such a beautiful, gentle, earnest, and amazing boy. He loves peanut butter, long hikes, his daycare friends (his best friend is a golden retriever named Oona) and tearing stuffed animals apart. He is our best friend in so many ways. Unfortunately, he does not do well living with other dogs or kids in his home. Burlap will do very well in a loving, happy home without other dogs or kids and preferably with someone who has raised hounds before and lives outside of the city (our boy likes to howl)! He needs an owner who is willing to do more behavioral training with him and who has the time and energy to give him lots of exercise. Burlap is whip-smart, knows basic obedience commands, is goofy and sweet and honestly the best dog we've had in so many ways. If you or someone you know is looking for a young hound, please contact me.

Tav is a young hound looking for his next adventure. We're not sure what his life looked like before he arrived at Sarge's, but we do know he's ready for his forever home. We suspect he is a young adult, but what we do know is he'd love some help with training. Tav needs someone devoted to enhancing his life, teaching him the ropes of life, and providing him the stability he desperately needs.
