Story
Meet Emma Take it to the left now and dip with it. Gon' throw down, take a sip with it, you know the words, to the Git Up line dancing song. You don’t? Are you under a rock? You do know that dance the Macarena, from 1993, right? I do a similar dance but it is really more of a potty dance, I lift my two front paws back and forth, cha cha shuffle style, but I don’t need to go potty, I am just excited and have to dance it out. Speaking of potty skills though, I am potty trained. I might do a little dance if all the trees are occupied, but I think all the trees would be male restrooms and I am a girl. A girl named Emma. I am a 4 year old medium sized Pitbull/Dalmation mix. I am mostly white, but if you come here close, you will see that I have one chocolate dipped ear and secret subtle spots all over. Well they aren’t secret spots now! I just blabbed. I have lots of energy and personality, but not too too much. I say the right amount. I love attention, treats and going on walks. I am good on a leash. I like small dogs the best, I am not a fan of big dogs, but I do live with some. I am also not a fan of small children, but I do like tween and teens, like 11 years and up. I am heartworm positive, but I have begun treatment. So may I have this dance? For life? GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for dogs over a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery. Microchips will be registered to new owner(s) within a week of arrival of your pet. If a name change is desired, the new name should be emailed to records@godsdogsrescue.org prior to arrival of your new pup. Please visit our website http://godsdogsrescue.org/ for helpful information re: transport, our adoption process and application, volunteering and fostering, and photos of our dogs/pups looking for homes!! Big Hunk was picked up off the streets of Pleasanton, TX as a stray. No one came looking for him so Atascosa Animal Allies took them into their care. This boy is full of bull, entergitic and a love bug! He wants to be the center of attention. He LOVES kids, but because of his size and energy we recommend children 6 and older.

Story
Welcome Rey Rey. She is a 1.5-year-old Staffordshire/Dalmatian blend is our guess. She is about 45 to 50 pounds full grown. This girl was found with her puppies. She was the most amazing momma dog. She wouldn’t leave the puppies side for 6 weeks. She would literally just leave for the most necessary things and then back in to be with her pups. I think being a deaf momma had it’s challenges because she couldn’t hear her babies cries. She had them in the wild before being taken in and she needed to keep them safe. Incredible foster moms took her and the pups in. She helped the family and all the puppies have found homes now. The foster for Rey Rey has come to CCPAL for help finding the momma a home. She is a deaf dog and is working on hand commands with her foster family. She is good on a leash, likes car rides, she is good in a crate, potty trained, good with other dogs and protective of her family and what she considers her people. She would be a great dog for a family. She has been around an 11-year-old and a 3-year-old and she loves the kids. We would say kids that are 7 or older as a general rule on all adult dogs. She would be great with a family that has had a deaf dog or someone that is deaf and knows the challenges that you face. She will need a fenced yard as recall is not possible. She is great on a leash so walking her will be easy. She is up on her shots, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She loves car rides. She recently was spayed and had a tick removed from her ear canal and a small cyst from the other ear. She still cannot hear but now she has perky upright ears. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to deliver her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to maudreyh@aol.com for an application. See her cute video!!

Story
(This is a courtesy posting.) Hi, my name is GIBBY. Don't ask me why! I have no idea. What's your name? Nice to meet ya! Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? I definitely want a home with a fenced-in yard so I can run and play and be safe. (You may see me posted in other cities looking for my new home.) Wanna know more about me? OK, here goes! I am a Pointer/Retriever mix. I am 2 years old! I weigh 50 pounds. I have had all of my shots and have been neutered and I have a microchip, whatever THAT is. I am house-trained. YAY me!!! Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? Everyone who knows me says I am a super sweet guy. I'm an active and fun boy. I like to run, play ball and I bet I'd do well in Agility. I could hike and bike, too! I'm your friend and buddy for life! I am a sweet, loving guy that just wants to be with my peeps. OK? I'm happy and smiling all the time! I'm happy cuddling with you and I'm one of the nicest pups you will ever meet. I am sure of that! I'm just an all-round happy boy! Good, huh? Maybe you need me as much as I need you??? If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email doggydarlings12@gmail.com and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $450 USD and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND air transportation from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S. and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting.)

Story
Animal Profile:   Wedgewood is a silly Catahoula mix who loves being around people. He walks well on the leash and quickly became popular for the field trip program at Kauai Humane Society, but is coming to Seattle to find his forever home! He does well with other dogs, greeting politely and willingly sharing his space (though he does seem prefer the ladies).  Wedgewood arrived from Kauai Humane Society on 3/26, and we have received the following update from his foster:  " He’s a very sweet dog who’s never met a stranger.  He was friendly when we got him, but now he seems to “smile” much more.  He loves to get belly rubs and spends work days sleeping near one of our desks.  He also crates really well and is just as happy to sleep in there.  He does seem to have some arthritis and is fairly stiff when he wakes up, but he still has good energy when he’s moving around or going for a walk and has even gone for a short run with me.  " Wedgewood is working on his leash skills and will need a strong leader that is comfortable correcting him when he sees other dogs and gets over excited. Adoption Info:  Adoption fee is $450, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, heartworm test, and flight from Hawaii. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Animal History:  This dog was transferred from our Kauai Humane Society rescue partner (Arrival Date Thursday 3/26). This dog will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org
