Meet Jack Jack!JackJack came into the shelter as a stray so unfortunately, we don`t have any home history on this handsome Doberman. JackJack is dog social and enjoyed playing with Princess the lovely pit he met during his dog test. JackJack has shown reactivity towards some strangers, typically when being approached and reached for. JackJack has been working with staff and volunteers, with lots of time and patience JackJack has been able to warm up to a select few. Once he does, he is a friend for life. JackJack would be best with a experienced owner that understands the Doberman breed. He is a very young and playful guy that would thrive with training, exercise, and enrichment. Would need to meet everyone in the household, adult only.

Meet Sage, Sage is our newest addition to the rescue family and will be available soon for adoption. We are taking applications now! You will not meet a sweeter girl that this girl even though she had a hard life for today we will make sure she has the best life now! Sage loves older kids and everyone she meets! She’s good with other dogs but unsure on cats. She knows several basic commands but from the scares she carries she appears to have been chained outside most of her life as she is missing a lot of hair on her neck currently. Don’t let this girl get swept away! All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Noel is a dog and cat friendly doberman mix. At 70lbs, she loves to play fetch, tug of war with her foster siblings, and run run run! We think she'd be happiest with a dog sibling or two and she does well with kids that she's comfortable around. She's super smart and does well in a crate. All this and she loves to snuggle, too! Noel is located in Laporte and her adoption fee is $350.

She does have food agressions towards other dogs is somthing to be aware of. She get anxiety if she is confined to a small space too long or away from her humans. Still pulls on the leash out of excitement for life and things she can chase. Needs lots of toys she likes to chew. Lots of energy!
