Story
Meet Jack Jack!JackJack came into the shelter as a stray so unfortunately, we don`t have any home history on this handsome Doberman. JackJack is dog social and enjoyed playing with Princess the lovely pit he met during his dog test. JackJack has shown reactivity towards some strangers, typically when being approached and reached for. JackJack has been working with staff and volunteers, with lots of time and patience JackJack has been able to warm up to a select few. Once he does, he is a friend for life. JackJack would be best with a experienced owner that understands the Doberman breed. He is a very young and playful guy that would thrive with training, exercise, and enrichment. Would need to meet everyone in the household, adult only.

Story
Hi, I am Cuda. I am a sweet and gentle lady looking for a home. I like to chew on bones and follow my brother around. I am bonded to my soul brother Tuna and we need to find a home together. He helps me be less fearful and become more confident. Due to being scared of new places and people I will need a home without young children so I can warm up and become the great dog I know I can be. I would like to have a chance to become a part of your family.

Story
One on one, Jameson is a well behaved dog. He understands several commands. He is very affectionate. He has behavioral problems, outside of the house, that I do not have the experience to train and my work schedule keeps me very busy. I am unable to give Jameson the fair time that he needs to work out his energy and high anxiety. These issues have lead to aggression with other dogs. Jameson's ideal home would have a yard for him to play and expend his energy. A loving, understanding home that has the time to work with him. He is a good dog that could be a great dog with the right training, patience, and love. Upon adoption, Jameson will come with his kennel, toys, remaining food and treats, water and food bowl, etc. You will have everything you need to make the transition successful.

Story
Sokka is a sweet and cuddly boy. My ex got him for me through a rescue. He came from New Mexico as a puppy, and is now 2. He does great with kids, even infants, as well as with other dogs and cats. I unfortunately am a single mother and just work way too much to give him and his buddy the attention they deserve. He will need some help with leash training. He does get a little nervous tinkle sometimes but not often.

Story
You are going to be jazzed to meet Gordon! Gordon is our own little Ray Charles. Off to a rough start as a young pup with a bit of the blues, five year-old Gordon may have lost most of his eyesight, but he can still see the light at the end of the tunnel. Despite his sight impediments, Gordon can still play a mean lap around the yard and belt out some amazing snuggles. He takes full advantage of his (lack of) disability and requires the perfect, floofy spot in which to rest after his long gig of a day. A slight case of diabetes and bum-deal blindness doesn’t hinder this little heartbreaker in the slightest. He’s ready to hit the road, Jack, and not go back to the streets, no more, no more. In fact, he’s already packed his gear and is ready to lay down some new beats with his forever peeps! Book a meeting with Gordon today and consider adding this little roadie to your pack! If you’re interested in adopting our sweet little soul singer, please fill out an adoption application at underdogsrescue.org/adopt-form * Gordon lost his sight as a result of his diabetes being left untreated in his previous home. His diabetes is now well controlled and is easily managed with daily medication. Underdogs is a small volunteer-based animal rescue and we unfortunately do not have the resources to respond to phone and email inquires about our adoptable animals at this time. If you're interested in learning more or setting up a meeting with one of our animals, please complete an adoption application first. It may take up to two weeks for application review and one of our coordinators will reach out to you as soon as we are through the intitial review process. We appreciate your patience and understanding! Thank you!  Our Underdogs adult dog adoption fee is $300, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccinations.    ##546794##

Story
Diamond is a Min Pin weighing about 10lbs.  We believe she is about 1.5-2.5 year old. Diamond came to us when she accidentally got pregnant because she was not fixed.  The owner said that it was just too much for her to handle, so we quickly found her a foster who could handle her and her puppies until everybody was ready to find their forever homes.  Diamonds babies have now all been adopted and it's her turn to find her true, perfect forever family.  Here is what her current foster has to say about her: "Diamond is sweet and playful! She is an avid fetcher, but her favorite hobby is for sure cuddling.  This girl will be there for you on all your outdoor adventures; running, hiking, you name it.  When you get home though, shes ready to be in your lap as much as possible.  She is a little timid when meeting new people and dogs, but it doesn't take her long to warm up and become your best friend.  She is such a sweet girl and if we could have another dog we would absolutely adopt her, she deserves the most perfect family ever." If you are interested in adopting Diamond, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com Diamonds adoption fee is $395.00 ##581945##

Story
Harley's engaging and sweet nature is just waiting to be enjoyed and appreciated. She is such a wonderful being...we think she represents the best qualities of the Min Pin and Terrier breeds. At about 5 - 6 years old and 8 lbs..the perfect size for neighborhood walks (she's a very social girl), hikes in the Colorado mountains (Harley loves adventures and hiking would be right down her alley!), car rides to dog-friendly destinations or backyard play..all would speak to Harley's love of coming along and being with her family having fun. Harley would love nothing more than to spend a day of play and adventures..and then at day's end crashing on the couch or bed for belly rubs and snuggles all night long. Harley is a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please - the happier her family is with her behavior, the more she shines with her accomplishments. We would love to see Harley in a home that includes her in family time and activities...she's very social and engaging and would thrive in a family that truly loves her and considers her a very important family member. Harley would be a wonderful companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with an adorable and loving pup. Harley's nature is to be a very happy girl who represents the joyful attitude of her breed mix. While she might be initially shy or frightened (rehoming is often a bit scary), some kind words, a loving hug and a yummy treat.. and Harley falls deeply in love. Harley is a bonded pair with her son Turbo. They've been together since his birth and we want to honor their relationship. Harley and Turbo are truly a case of two is easier than one. They're happy go lucky, low maintenance pups who love their people like crazy...but when their family is busy with other things, Harley & Turbo are very happy to play and snuggle together until their people are free again to interact and love them up. Harley will do well with any loving guardian who's invested in spending time with their pup. She's so pleasant and portable that she can be a part of any adventure....it can be a leisurely walk socializing with neighbors, a picnic in the park or a visit with family or friends. A car ride is also always fun..especially if it leads to a fun, dog-loving spot. At day's end, a spot on the bed all night beside her favorite humans will speak to the loving nature of this little dog. Harley's New Mexico rescuer had the following to say about sweet Harley: Miss Harley is a one of a kind special girl. She is so full of pure love and positive bouncy energy and is happy as can be once she's comfortable in her environment. My 9 and 12 year old daughters love Harley and Turbo beyond (as do their friends!) A typical scene at my house after school or on a weekend night is Harley on the couch cuddling so happily between my girls and their friends. Everyone who has met Harley thinks she's the greatest...absolutely wonderful pup! Harley is also pretty perfect with my playful Terrier, my crazy Chihuahua and my grumpy calico kitty. She's flexible enough that she can adjust to virtually every situation..and succeed with love and guidance. If I didn't have a crazy household already, there's no question that this sweet as can be girl would be my forever pup! Harley will be arriving on transport in Denver in late February. Adoption applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and cuddly best friend. An app can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Harley, please be sure to submit the Farfel's Rescue adoption application that can be found at the link above or at farfels.com. Rescue site applications such as Petfinder, Rescueme or Adoptapet don't provide enough information for us to determine a great match for this very deserving dog and therefore aren't useful. We're sorry, but in most circumstances, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
