Story
Chewy is a handsome 6-year-old natural eared boy with some European breeding that's looking for a new home. Chewy has had some professional obedience training so he knows the basic commands. He is a tall, strapping male who needs just a little more work on a leash. Chewy is always up for an adventure. He travels very nicely in a car and is a gentleman in public. Chewy likes to be active from the time he wakes up until bedtime. He will fetch a ball or frisbee for as long as you can keep tossing and then some. Because he is so food motivated, he would do wonderful at agility or “Search” to keep his mind and body stimulated. Chewy would do best in a single person home. He bonds very strongly with his one human and may view visitors coming into the home as a possible threat to his human. He takes his job as a protective Doberman seriously. He does get along with other dogs, especially his current female Doberman friend. He definitely would do well in a home with a female dog to play with. Cats are not recommended as he likes to chase them. And because of his size and strong bonding to one person, we do not recommend children. For more information on Chewy, please fill out an application at https://www.dprpa.org/applicationform

Story
Coco is a stunning 10 month old Doberman Pinscher, who is looking for her someone special to spend her life with! She weighs about 60lbs, and loves to run and play! She is super smart, knows all her commands, is house trained, and walks well on leash. Coco would benefit from being in a home without other pets or small children. A fenced yard and/or plenty of rigorous Exercise would be her preferences! We would love to see her find an experienced owner, familiar with the Dobie breed, who will continue working with her so that she can reach her full potential. She is a total love bug and sooo sweet! Coco LOVES her people and snuggling up on the sofa is her favorite hobby! If you are interested in adopting her apply today at: fortheloveofdogsrescuepa.org/ http://fortheloveofdogsrescuepa.org/application-contact-us.

Story
Cesar is as sweet as he is handsome.  All he wants is to be petted and loved.  Cesar is 6 years old, cropped (but flopped), neutered, micro chipped, and up to date on all vaccines.  He requires a home with a secluded, large, solid fenced-in yard, far from the hustle and bustle of passersby, particularly those with dogs.  He would do best with an experienced Doberman owner who understands reactive behavior and knows how to manage the environment for a dog with this trait.  Cesar is very food motivated so, if you know what you’re doing, it is not too difficult to manage his behavior.  While he walks well on the leash, he would do just as well hanging out in the security of his peaceful backyard.  Cesar is well behaved, knows his basic commands, takes treats gently, and is crate trained.   He’s ready to just fit right into your laid back, quiet household.

Story
Did I hear “sit, stay, come, down”! Well if I did, I am the dog for you. My name is Nova and I had my second birthday on October 24, 2019. I am a female Doberman mix. Once I meet you, I will be your best friend. I seem to like cats and when they hiss at me, I actually just walk away. My walking skills on a leash are good and I really love to go for long walks. I also grew up with young children and love them. I am such a big mush and love to give kisses! Nova is spayed, micro chipped, and up to date on all her shots. She is a very smart girl and is looking for that special person to love her. A home with no small dogs and only a male dog of her size would be best. If you have what it takes to provide Nova with the right home that she deserves, please complete an application at www.dprpa.org/applicationform.
