Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Lynn & Cedric (lynnwelcomesyouhome@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. All of our dogs and cats are in foster homes and we have no paid staff.  If you have questions concerning a specific animal,  PLEASE fill out an application and the foster parent will be in touch.  We will not arrange any home visits with any of our dogs and cats until your application is processed.  Please understand our foster parents are precious to our 2nd Chance family; without them we cannot function, so we do our best to not burden them with multiple appointments.  Our foster parents will choose their top 3 applications and arrange home visits with these applicants.  The adopter will be chosen at that time.  The process can take anywhere from a week to a month.  We want to make sure our little furry ones are placed in their "forever home" and never have to go through a rehoming again!   Hi can we talk?  I'm really tiny so I am not looking to be a little kids 'friend' cause I'm not happy with the thought of lots of little feet running around near me :(  I would like another small pup to be my friend as I dont want to be home alone while you have to go somewhere.  I prefer a pee pad so if I have to go I don't have to try to hold it to long I mean lets face it I'm a little thing with a tiny bladder. My foster mommy says a fenced yard would be nice since I am not used to a leash.  RequirementsFenced YardNo young childrenAnother small dog    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to  families with children under the age of 5.  We do not adopt dogs to renters.  Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment.  The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners.  We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs.  Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!

Story
Bourbon is 8 years old. He loves to snuggle under blankets when it's cold. He has a lot of energy. He would do well with someone that has a fenced in yard, or a yard big enough for him to be on a runner. Bourbon has separation anxiety. He is on medication for that. Bourbon does not do well with young kids as he was never raised around them. He would most likely do well with an older couple. Bourbon does well with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats.

Story
Posted 10/23/15 Jelly was surrendered from a not so great situation.  He was with another female dog and did well with her but it does depend on the dog.  He has been a good little guy that has crated well and has been nice boy here, but needs a dog savy person.  He has NOT been with children so we will not place him with kids or cats.  He is 22 lbs  but can be a busy dog and needs a fenced yard to expend that energy.  He is about 2 years old and is housetrained here.  He needs to come to you on his terms.  His adoption fee is $225.   All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. Adoption fee required. Story
Meet Buster, aka Downtown Buster Brown! This energetic boy isn’t sure if he’s a min pin or super man with a cape! He’s full of young boy energy and has springs for legs. He LOVES to play and will need an active household with plenty of stimulation. He would not do well crated for long periods of time. No small children (under 15), as he can get a bit too excitable when playing and likes to nibble fingers. Breed experience a plus.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Chuckles is a perfectly sized dog, not too big, not too small, just right! She is easy to take places and doesn't take up too much room on the couch! She may be a bit of an older girl, but that just means she has had longer to learn how to be a good dog. She likes to figure things out before she tries them out, so slow intros to new things are best for her, giving her time to understand how she can be the best girl she can be. Chuckles needs a home with no children because they make her nervous. Chuckles warms up to other dogs after a few introductions and loves to play. She is currently living with five other dogs in her foater home. Chuckles loves toys and chewing them too!! She is not destructive in the home but she does need lots of toys to keep her occupied. Once she is comfortable she will cuddle on your lap. She will not jump on furniture but will sit with you if you pick her up. She loves to sleep in her own bed next to you at night. She would not be suitable for an apartment of townhouse because she will bark when she hears noises outside. She is sweet as can be and you really have to meet her to see her full personality. She is getting better walking on a leash and not as scared of things outdoors. If you are interested in Chuckles, please contact; rorrcanine@gmail.com    *** Click here to sponsor this dog! *** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
