Story
&#226&#173&#144&#226&#173&#144 SAY HELLO TO CHANCE!! &#226&#173&#144&#226&#173&#144 Chance's introduction is long overdue! Your support allowed us to pull this sweet injured fellow from a high kill shelter and he has been settling in with us the last couple weeks.  Chance has been to our vet and will require surgery on his leg, likely injured from a car. The surgery is considered non urgent as Chance is still mobile and not in pain. The vet is only doing urgent surgeries at this time to maintain an adequate supply of surgical supplies as we all deal with covid-19. In the meantime, we've learned Chance knows sit, paw, and likely more. He is anxious to meet the SCPR pack. Oh and don't be fooled -- this boy can run. We have to tether Chance so he doesn't chase our goats!

Story
SWEET BOY BALOO Baloo is an easy to please dog. Give him a comfortable spot outside and he will sunbathe for hours. He looks up with his sweet soft face and we just have to join him. He is a great reminder to stop and enjoy the moment.Baloo is a really loving boy. He seems most connected to humans. We'd love to see him laying on a soft dog bed in front of a fire. We think he would appreciate a calm quiet home. He just doesn't need a lot to be happy.Like many of our dogs, Baloo is long overdue for his forever home. We don't understand why some dogs are overlooked. We can't help but think we are doing something wrong because Baloo is just too great of a dog to wait this long.Send us a PM if you'd like to foster or adopt this sweet boy.**CALL (530) 824-1985 **OR APPLY ONLINE: http://www.secondchancepetrescue.org/adopt/

Story
ADOPT MAX Max is a good boy with fabulous ears! He is maybe a year or two old but doesn't behave like a puppy. He is calm and gentle. We think Max has the potential to be a phenomenal dog.Max is quite tall and weighs 70 pounds. He appears to be potty trained and listens to humans very well. Max is also super sweet and will follow his person around. He will gently bow his head and lean his body into you for pets. He takes treats gently and likes to play fetch. To top it off, Max is also dog friendly! Max is an exceptional dog and we hope to find him a home that can give him all the love he wants and deserves.Interested in meeting Max? Please call us at (530) 824-1985 or submit an application at http://www.secondchancepetrescue.org/adopt/
