Story
Hello everyone, I'm Maurice! I am a very loving guy and love to gets pets from my people! The play yard is a lot of fun because I can run around and play fetch! I am a little afraid of new people and need a little extra time to warm up. Treats help when meeting me and I hope you don't mind taking it slow. I will melt into your lap once we're friends! I am looking for a quieter adult only home where I can get lots of attention. I've been with BHS for a while now, and I hope my person will come along soon. I get along with some dogs with slow introductions and I am willing to try to make new friends! I have not been tested with cats and my ideal home would be one with a yard that has space for me to run and play. Come meet me at the Dog Adoptions Center today!

Story
Hi! My name is Hudson! I'm a very sweet and loving pup who's waiting for my new best friend. I enjoy toys and going for long walks. I'm hoping I'll go to a home that will take me on adventures and cuddle with me all the time. I would like to be the only pet in the home, but I'll make up for it by giving you all the love you'll ever need! I love playing ball and rolling around on the ground just taking the day in. Inside I am very content playing with my toys by myself and just lounging around. I am a very loyal guy to the people who take care of me and I'll be very loyal and loving with my next people too. Will that be you? If you want a sweet and content pup who will stick by your side, come down and fill out an application at the Dog Adoption Center today!

Story
Tinkerbell is a sweet senior dog who came into the shelter as a stray, and sadly no one came in to claim her. She's currently living in a foster home; here's what foster mom Shelly has to say: "Tinkerbell came to our house on February 14, 2020. She was very afraid of my husband and I at first, but after a few hours she decided that we were okay and became our friend. She is still timid when meeting new people and often barks at them, but once she gets to know someone, she loves them and wants to be by their side. Tink loves to sit on someone’s lap and she sleeps next to my husband in her dog bed when he works from home. Tink gets along great with our other two small dogs. She is best friends with our dog Slim and loves to cuddle with him. She was initially afraid of our cat, but now ignores him for the most part. She is housetrained. She loves to go for walks, and goes crazy when she sees us get out the leashes! When Tink came to our house, she was recovering from kennel cough and still occasionally coughs from time to time, especially at night but she will soon make a full recovery. She is missing some teeth, and her tongue hangs out of her mouth in a very cute way. I have never seen Tink interact with children, but due to her age and timid nature, I would recommend that she go to a home without small children. She will need an owner who can give her some time and space to get used to them, but once she gets accustomed to a new family, she will be a super loving and devoted pet." If you would like more information about Tinkerbell or would like to meet her, please call or text foster mom Shelly at (530) 521-9012 (after 4:00 if on a weekday).
