Story
I took Maggie in last April. She was a stray, and the plan was to find her original owners. After months of calling multiple shelters, giving out her picture, and searching through lost dog ads all over the place in KC, Topeka, and Lawrence, I made arrangements to keep her. She's very, very smart and well-behaved and responds to all commands, knows how to fetch, etc.. However, she's very dog-aggressive. I've muzzle-trained her and gotten her to the point that she can go on walks with certain dogs. She's bitten dogs before, will lunge if they're too close, and absolutely won't be able to live with another dog. She's been to the vet. She's up to date on her shots and has no health issues besides smelly breath. The vet says she's about 8-9 years old. I'm not giving her up for sure. But if I can find someone who can give her a nice, loving home, I will. I'm a recent grad, and I suspect I'll become too busy to give her the attention she deserves when I have to move this August.

Story
Ruby is a Laberbull who was rescued out of a hot car about 2 years ago. She is a Tripod dog! Ruby has three legs, but that does not stop her from living her best life. She is incredibly fast and is full of life and energy. When Ruby was found I decided to take her in, and she has been the best friend I could ask for. But I have come to the conclusion that Ruby still needs a better life. I am relocating to California full time in a few months, and it would be selfish to keep Ruby inside and away from other animals everyday. It is an incredibly hard decision, but she deserves the best life possible. She just turned two years old, and still contains lots of puppy energy. But she is house trained, and over other puppy phases such as chewing up shoes and furniture. I would love to find Ruby a home where she can play outside and be around other dogs. She is great with other dogs and people, and is very social. A home with a backyard, and another friend would be the best home for her.

Story
Hi everyone, I have adopted Chumi when she was just a month old, the day I got her is on 2017/01/24, so she just celebrated her 3 years old birthday! Chumi is a mix with Husky and German Shepard, so she is kinda energetic, she likes lots of running and chasing. However, she is also quiet when staying at home with me, I believe she can adapt to any condition easily.

Story
River is a very sweet four year old Australian cattle dog that loves to cuddle and will do anything for a treat. She is great on and off leash. She knows basic commands and is house trained. She completed basic and intermediate obedience training. River gets along great with the dog she lives with, but she is nervous around other dogs and has been in a fight before. She doesn't like cats and she isn't good with young children. She is great with adults. River is generally quite healthy. She has to take a pill to prevent bladder leakage but with the pill it's 100% taken care of. The pills are $40 for three months, and the owner is willing to buy the next refill.
