Story

I adopted Winnie during Christmas of 2015 when she was four years old. Her energy and excitement to be around my family won our hearts immediately. She is very affectionate once adjusted. She follows me into whatever room I may be in and even sleeps right against my bed...even if that's not where her dog bed is. She also has adorable quirks. She does the paws-on-hip thing in the photo all on her own. And she will bring you her tennis ball only to look at you funny when you throw it for her to fetch. She also absolutely loves blankets. Unfortunately, she does have behavior issues. She is very aggressive towards other dogs and does growl at people sometimes. Recently I realized I can't give Winnie what she needs. I hope someone with more time and experience (and room for her to run) can give her a home.

Story

Brody is a young 3 year old male mix breed, with a lot of love to give. He loves people and children (all ages). He is a big boy that loves to play, go for car rides, walks, on runs, and hanging out being a couch potato with his family. He does get along with other dogs (even 3 lb Yorkshire Terriers), however he does have food aggression and that is why I feel he should be the only dog. He has been around indoor cats with proper introductions. Please email me with any questions about Brody. I am looking for someone that can provide him a loving forever family home.

Story

Sammy is an approximately four year old chihuahua - husky mix . He was formerly abused, and is fearful of tall and larger people, especially big men. He has done very well with me (short, petite woman) and most other women. Sammy exhibits PTSD-type symptoms when feeling fearful or cornered. Sammy is good with cats and other dogs, but would likely enjoy being an only fur child as he prefers getting all the attention. He attaches to his "person" and wants to be near them often. He loves sleeping with you on the bed or snuggling on the sofa. Sammy enjoys the dog park - especially if he can convince another dog to run so that he can do some chasing. He is generally disinterested in toys, but loves having his tummy rubbed. Sammy doesn't like his feet being touched or being snuck up on from behind. Grooming and nail trims must be done by a professional. Overall Sammy is very loving and dedicated, but needs someone who can be slow and very patient with him.
