Story
Sophie is 3.5 years old. She is not house trained. I am not home enough to accomplish that. She was abused badly and is fearful. She loves walks and wants to be the first out or coming in. She plays with a ball or other toys. I wish I could keep her, but she needs to be in a home where someone is home everyday or most days. She is trainable and a great snuggle buddy if she feels safe. I really want her in a safe, loving home with someone who is very patient with her. She plays with other dogs and is fine with cats. A bigger dog would do well with her because she is strong. She is Bassett mix.

Story
7 year old American Bulldog mix named Onyx. Onyx loves to run faster than his feet will allow, catch anything thrown his direction and is unconditionally loyal. He is in need of a home that allows him to have owners time and attention. He needs a home where he can run and play to burn his seldom ending energy. He is an excellent dog however he is an Alfa. This is the only issue we have had, he can not get along with one of our other dogs in a struggle over dominance. We believe he would be a great hunting dog due to his obsession with retrieving and need to please. He is potty trained and good with children.

Story
Hi, my name is Biscuit and I am 4 years old! The 2nd photo of me is from when I was only 7 months old. Wasn't I adorable? My first owners thought so too! They didn't understand my separation anxiety and brought me back to the shelter that I came from. My 2nd owner wasn't very nice and I ended up abandoned on a busy highway. I was so scared! When my rescuer found me I was dirty, malnourished and had skin issues. You can see what I looked like then in the 3rd picture. I am so glad that I am better now! My rescuer wanted to keep me but I DO NOT like her cat at all. I would prefer a home where I am the only pet. Due to past abuse, I REALLY don't like men and would do better with a female owner. I also need an owner who can spend lots of time with me and crate me while they are gone. I graduated from the Pups for Paroles program when I was younger but am a bit rusty on my skills. Please don't go barking up the wrong tree, with patience and training I know I can be a great companion!

Lilly

Doberman Pinscher German Shepherd Dog

Saint Joseph, MO
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
My boyfriend and I adopted Lilly from a Kc shelter. When learning about her story, we found out she was found in an abandoned lot. When we got her, she was underweight, had kennel cough and heart worms. Thankfully, the shelter is able to help treat her at no cost to us except driving to KC to treat her. Getting her as a stray from the shelter, they couldn’t provide us with how she was with other animals. We have had a car for a year now, and Lilly’s “hunting” instincts have kicked in with our dear cat and can’t seem to get along with him. Other than that, she is very energetic and loving. Out setbacks with her is we don’t have get to give her as much outside time as she wishes due to us working strange hours, and we’ve moved into a new apartment but it’s not big enough for our Lilly. I’m hoping someone can get her the life she deserves with a big backyard and plenty of time to giver her all the lovins.

Callie is a 70 lb blonde lab mix. I believe she is 3 to 4 years old. She is very loving and good with kids. She is also very high energy. She needs to be in a home where someone is with her most of the time as she gets separation anxiety that leads to destructive behaviors.
