Story
This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken.  They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.  Dogs and cats evacuated from overcrowded, earthquake damaged shelters in Puerto Rico arrived at Morristown Airport  February 9th.  Jersey Shore Animal Center took 6 dogs to assist in the relief effort.  We will help these pets find new loving homes. 1 year old, 20lbs.  Has a longer body like a doxi.  Can be choosy about her canine playmates.  Best suited with a home with a fenced in yard.  *Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.

We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken.  They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.   Goliath is here from Puerto Rico.  Due to the devastation from the recent earthquakes the animals desperately needed help.  This boy is extra special.  He is 2 years old, has 3 legs and 1 eye.  How can you help but fall in love with him?  He does not know he has any disability.....he runs and plays with the best of them!   We feel he is better suited as an only pet, with a fenced in yard for him to run around and play!    Please open your heart to a special needs pet, they will make your heart full.  Kids 12+*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.

Friends of the Shelter-this is a crosspost for Brooklyn, helping our rescue friends at A.F.E.W. Rescue, Hightstown NJ, if you are interested, please email: afew_pets@comcast.net  Brooklyn needs help! URGENT - iTunes has it all wrong…Brooklyn is the hottest single of the year! Brooklyn is a good dog, she is loyal and dedicated to her owners. She likes to go for walks, car rides, play fetch and makes the cutest faces and head tilts when she hears a dog toy squeaking so we think she would like a home with a fenced in yard, tennis balls, squeak toys and forever parents to throw her toys and take her for car rides and walks. Brooklyn is a member of the “only child club” as she needs a home where she is the only pet so she doesn't have to share your attention.   NOTE THIS DOG IS NOT AT THE JERSEY SHORE ANIMAL CENTER, PLEASE CONTACT AT THE EMAIL ABOVE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BROOKLN, THIS IS A SIMPLE CROSS POST. THANK YOU.*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
