Story
Dog is 6 years old, owned by our son who has abandoned him. We were caring for dog but can’t do it full time because he doesn’t get along with one of our dog, also part pit bull. He is great with our female dogs and would do great with other non aggressive dogs. He is a loving dog and very protective of his humans. He has some skin issues, from allergies and needs a careful diet. He is all caught up on rabies until 2022, and can supply certificate.

Story
We’re moving homes and can’t take this sweet dog with us. We adopted him when he was a puppy and he has been through training classes, is fixed, crate trained, and up to date on his shots. He currently lives with another dog and an one year old child. Moby needs a home where he can have consistent attention as he does have separation anxiety. Full disclosure, during our last move Moby became quite stressed and bit another dog where we were living. With love and attention he is the sweetest, most gentle dog. I would recommend that he be in a home without children as he does have a history of biting when very stressed (one occasion). We’ve had him since he was a pup and with structure he does very well and could be with older kids and other dogs. If you’re interested in Moby and want to see how he does with your family I’d be happy to meet up and introduce you! We are sad we can’t provide the best home for Moby where he can shine.

Story
My Loki is a purebred English coonhound. He is totally housebroke and has NEVER lived outdoors. Yes, he will hunt raccoons, which is why he's not great with cats. He gets along with most other dogs, but doesn't have a lot of patience with tiny yapping dogs. Loki is a good watch dog, you'll always know if someone is coming. He has never bitten a human or animal. (Unless you count maybe a racoon) Loki will hunt, but has not been for over a year. Loki is really a pet. He loves to sleep on my bed in the daytime, and has his own bed close in my bedroom. He is gentle taking a treat! I will not give Loki to a hunter, as I feel that he would end up living outdoors and I don't want that for him! Loki loves being petted! Loki needs a big secure fenced in yard to run and play in. He does like squeaky toys, but has to be watched with them so he doesn't just destroy it...lol Loki needs some work with leash training.

Story
Haaaaaay! I'm Rocky! Whatcha doin? Can I play? I love to play and be silly. All kinds of toys are interesting to me. I bet there are some that I've never even seen before! I get so into my toys that I sometimes eat them a little so, please make sure I don't. I also am very interested in the world around me. Please, can we go for lots of walks? I really can't believe how much stuff there is to sniff out there! Who knew? I'm still trying to figure out how to relate to others. Sometimes, I get a little too excited and I need my human to help me take a time out. I'm a really friendly guy and I'm pretty sure I like most people. Dogs, I'm not so sure about. Maybe I like them, maybe not. I feel like that's fair. Anyway, come meet me right now, if you can! I'd love to show you around! (adoptions category: lilac)

Story
Cooper is a rescue dog from the British Virgin Islands. Someone asked us to take him home, and we agreed to try, even though I said we could not manage a puppy. Since then, the organization who was supposed to help find him a forever home has not agreed to help. Cooper is an extremely smart, sweet, and active dog. We are gone all day and I believe it would be better to find a home where he can be more active. A home with another dog would be great so they could play. Or a home where he could run around or take a lot of walks would be good as well. He loves to play, run, fetch, and wrestle with other dogs. He is potty trained and is getting the hang of walking on a leash. I would not suggest a home with small children. He is a puppy and nips while playing still at this age. He is a beautiful dog. I just believe we are not the perfect fit for him.
