Story
Hunter is a 6 and a half yr old pointer mix. He is energetic, very excitable and loves to run outside and play for hours. He is good with other dogs. We have a cat that hes good with but unsure how he would be with other cats. Hes crate trained and invisible fence trained. He loves to explore so he will wonder but comes on a call or whistle. Knows basic commands. Hes good with kids but in his quest for attention he can get be kinda clumsy around them. We have a youg family and dont give hime the attention he deserves. With being a pointer i believe with the right training we would be a good sporting dog.

Story
Red is a fantastic dog. Has a personality that will definitely brighten your day. He's a snuggler it's his favorite hobby besides getting the doggie zoomies while outside. He is fantastic with kids and other dogs as long as they don't aggressively play with him or he gets grumpy. He loves his treats after going outside. Toys are hit and miss. Loves to run. With that being said he has to be on a leash, cable run, or fenced in yard.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Angel loves to lay on the bed and just lounge and sleep. She also loves to run and play with her pup friends. Angel does need a companion and would do best in a home with another confident dog. She is food motivated. She does a little dance and smiles for her treats. She loves to give her foster mom gentle kisses in the morning to let her know that it is breakfast time. Angel requires a very patient person. It takes her a very long time to warm up to new people and trust them. She and her sister were found on their own at a young age, having had no human contact, new people can be very scary. She is not that cuddle bug type of pup. It's on her time and for a quick minute or 2. Angel has been through so much and has come so far. She has an old injury to her hip which will need to be monitored. It doesn't slow her down, though. She just loves to romp and play with her doggie friends. While she is great with other dogs, she does not do well with small animals. Due to her fearfulness, she will require a fenced in yard.   Adoption fee is $275 which includes spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, heart worm test and microchip!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, UTD on Vaccinations, deworming, and flea treatment.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update (8/27/2019) Ruger is an amazing boy with those he trusts.  Every day he shows a little more of his personality.   He loves to run and play with his furry siblings.  They are his best friends!!!! Ruger is looking for a family that will understand it will be a slow transition introducing him to their family.  New people, new faces, and new places make him nervous.  They have got to be willing to work with him and help him learn to trust. But once you get past that, if you can stick it out, you will be rewarded with the most loyal, loving and sweet boy. <3 Update from Foster Mom: My circle of insecurities is getting smaller every day. I am not a fan of males, but I am kinda growing fond of my foster dad. I am most comfortable on my mama's bed in a smaller room where there is less stimulation. I take treats and love when I am on her bed and will snuggle up to her.  Out of the bedroom is a different story. I am skittish but coming around. I love to play outside with all my four-legged friends and my new toys!   All in all I am a good courageous boy learning to love humans! Due to Ruger's circumstances, he is currently shy around new humans and still learning to trust.  Due to that fact, he is not available for adoption.  BUT - we are accepting applications and if your application seems like the perfect fit to ensure Ruger will still continue to trust and learn we will work with you and the Foster Family to ensure an easy transtition.  Update: He has been with us over a month now and will now walk very well on a leash and let us pet him. He is not eager for attention but will sometimes approach his kennel gate when we arrive.  Ruger is a 32 lbs, HW- hound mix who is very shy. He was born to a stray mom as part of a litter of 9. He is the runt of the litter and we brought him to the shelter because his siblings (in foster) had begun to pick on him. He is very scared and lays in a ball in the back of his crate with his head turned away. He needs a special person to step up for him.Intake April 2015.  ~~ The adoption fee for Ruger is $250.00.  He will come to you fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, UTD on Vaccinations, deworming, and flea treatment.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please meet Colette! She is a 3 yr old sweetheart! Colette was pulled from a shelter where she was at risk of not making it out. She was a little banged up from being attacked by a dog in a previous home she was adopted out to.  Colette is very sweet and LOVES people. She was very happy to leave the shelter and was a perfect princess for the whole ride!  With slow introductions, Colette gets along with most dogs her size or bigger; a meet and greet with any resident or frequently visiting dogs in your home will be required. Colette doesn't do well with any animals smaller than her, so she will need a home without any small dogs or cats or even any visiting small dogs.  Colette has done well with older considerate kids, over the age of 6, who know appropriate boundaries with animals. She is currently in a foster home with no other animals and is thriving! If you think she's a match for you please fill out an application!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, UTD on Vaccinations, deworming, and flea treatment.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Magik!! This big bubba is currently in boarding and looking for a foster or adoptive home. He's about 4 years old and about 90lbs. He could use some exercise to lose a few. He was in jeopardy of losing his life due to overcrowding in the shelter, and we could not let that happen! But because we do not have enough fosters, he had to go into boarding while we bought some time.    Magik is a big puppy who would benefit from a fenced in yard as he is still learning proper leash manners. When walked with an appropriate front clipping harness, he does walk wonderfully. He loves to play and snuggle with volunteers who have been spending time with him. A home without other dogs or small children would be best until he can properly decompress. He's a big strong boy so that's why we are saying no small children right now, they might accidentally get toppled over. If you are interested in this goofy big boy, please contact us today and help us get him out of boarding and into a warm, cozy home!!    https://queencitypitties.com/adoption-application/   https://queencitypitties.com/foster-application/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, UTD on Vaccinations, deworming, and flea treatment.
