Hi! My name is Digby my foster mom calls me Dig. I am a little old man that does have some spunk. I am about 8 years old. I was abused so I need someone who is willing to take their time with me. My foster mom can explain more when you meet me. Please consider taking me home. Because I am older and abused I would do best in a home with no Children but i do like other dogs! (1)

Story
Harper is a terrier and lab mix, 19 lbs, four months old (D.O.B. 11-15-19); spayed on March 16th (hence the shaved belly). She is crate trained and will let you know when she needs to go out for potty. Harper likes human laps and watching TV. She is timid when you first meet her, but once she’s comfortable, you get to see her silly side. 😊 Good with other dogs and children. (She tries to get our 7yo dog to play, but unfortunately, our dog been aloof toward her so far.) Foster family is in North Buffalo; fyi – I do not have FB messenger on my cell phone, but I do check it a few times a day. (55)

Story
Ruger, 2 yrs, male german shepher/cattle dog, 60 lbs Hi, Everyone! I am not sure if anyone remembers me but I am still looking for my forever home! I just turned 2 this month and I still have lots of puppy energy. I am in a foster home with 2 doggy sisters about my size. I attended puppy obedience classes when I was younger. I was in boarding for a bit and I learned lots of new tricks and sharpened up my manners with a trainer while I was there. I am very well behaved most of the time. I know lots of commands like sit, stay, come, place, no, and leave it! I LOVE to play fetch and my ball is a better motivator for me than even my treats, but I love those too! I walk very well on my leash and enjoy walks. love to lay next to my humans, cuddle on the couch, and take a nap. I eat very well and take my treats nice and gentle. I do my potty business outside, ride well in the car and I am not a barker. I play with my foster sister dogs, but I am very fast and strong and I usually win at tug of war and fetch, so they get frustrated. I would probably be best as an only dog or with a dog my size. I like to get all the attention as I did not have any for so long. I have not been around smaller dogs or cats, but I do chase rabbits and squirrels. Based on my energy level a fenced yard is recommended. I am still young and I get excited easily. When I get over stimulated I can get mouthy, so I will need someone who will be patient with me and continue my training. I am also probably best in a home with no children due to my size and strength. (32)

Story
Come met our newest single gentleman! Red is a 9-month-old, 55-pound, chocolate lab mix, who is looking for love. Recently relocated to Buffalo from Georgia and is hoping to find a snuggle buddy for these chilly winter nights. He loves to lounge around on the sofa or snuggle in bed. He loves long, slow walks that allow him to put his snout to use and allow for a great bonding experience. He is a huge goofball and klutzy but that all adds to his amazing personality. Since he is a young pup, he is working on his manners and house training. He loves to play with plush toys and tussle with other pups. Due to his size, he would be a great match for homes with older children, since he does not realize how big he is. If you think Red would be a match for your family, please apply here to become prequalified or contact your volunteer to set up a date. He cannot wait to meet you 😁 (44)

Story
Hey! Hi there! How’s it going?! My name is Jax and I don’t know how to relax! I’m a 2 year old male hound mix that weighs about 45 pounds. I love to be on the go go go! I’m potty trained, crate trained, and know some basic commands. I get along well with other dogs but I do not like to share my food! I was in a house with young kids and got along well with them too! That family was nice but I was a bit too high energy for them so I’m hoping my furever home will be nice and active. If you’re looking for a fun loving weirdo, I’m your guy! (54)
