Story
(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.)UPDATE   2/18/2020 Arby has been diagnoised with a collapsed trachea, which means he will cough when excited or if using his collar to walk he will pull and start coughing collapsing his neck.  Posted 11/28/19 Arby was an owner surrender but their loss.  He has such a wonderful personality and is housetrained. He plays well with others seems fine with cats and just an overall great dog.  He does have some skin issues we are working on but seem quite minor.  He has had skin problems that were not addressed by his owner quick enough and it created permanent hair loss (not awful).  He is 9 years old and weighs about 24lbs.  He is eligible for our SENIORS FOR SENIORS program.  His adoption fee is $150.   All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. Adoption fee required. Story
Posted  9/16/16 Rusty was picked up as a stray from one shelter and transferred to another, this poor guy was passed around like candy.  He is fine with dogs as long as he isn't on a leash.  He is crate trained and housebroken.  He does have resource guarding issues so we will not place his with any children.  He needs a person that is a little dog savy.  Once he gets to know what is expected of him he is a wonderful dog.  He is not the type of dog to be around too many strangers he can be a bit afraid.  Give him a chance and he will be a great companion.  His adoption fee is $175 he weighs about 40lbs.  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. Story
Posted 10/23/15 Jelly was surrendered from a not so great situation.  He was with another female dog and did well with her but it does depend on the dog.  He has been a good little guy that has crated well and has been nice boy here, but needs a dog savy person.  He has NOT been with children so we will not place him with kids or cats.  He is 22 lbs  but can be a busy dog and needs a fenced yard to expend that energy.  He is about 2 years old and is housetrained here.  He needs to come to you on his terms.  His adoption fee is $225. Story
Posted 5/30/14 Unique was found as a stray and had 2 puppies after being taken in.  She is a young girl at 1-1/2 years old and she is a very busy dog.  She is very loving and loves to play with other dogs.  Because she is so active we do require a fenced yard for this 70lb dog.  She is crate trained and is housetrained (here).  She is not cat safe and because she jumps we do not recommend kids under 12.  She needs obedience training that will make her a perfect dog.  Her adoption fee is $200. Story
Hello! My name is Loki. I will be 2 years old this March 27th. My owner has moved into a community that doesn't allow furbabies over 30 pounds, so he is looking for a loving home for me to enjoy! My shots aren't up-to-date, I'm not neutered or microchipped. I need a patient owner who will train me to go potty outside!
