Unfortunately I won't be able to take care of her anymore. I love her very much and hope I can find another loving owner to take care of her.

Story

My wife and I rescued two puppies from the street near our home in Puerto Rico when their mother stopped breastfeeding them at about 2 months old and abandoned them to fend for themselves. Their names are Rayito and Joso. They are now 2 years old, they were born Sept 6, 2017 on the night of Hurricane Irma. Two weeks later these two puppies lived through the force winds and rain of category 6 Hurricane Maria and also survived. They have grown to become wonderful dogs, loving, friendly, and excellent companions. We'd appreciate a good home where these dogs can get the care they need and deserve. It's not going to be easy to have to let them go, we love these two dogs. We are now 73 years old and need to return to NJ because of health issues and can not keep the dogs. The only shelter in Ponce, Puerto Rico does not have adequate space for the overpopulation and can not guarantee adoption and would have to end their lives after 5 days.
