Loki was found with his siblings at a common dumping ground in Puerto Rico. They were very scared, but eventually they were able to be lured with food, and now they are in a loving foster home. Sadly, a day after being rescued, Loki's health rapidly deteriorated and he was diagnosed with a contagious, life-threatening bacterial infection. He had to be hospitalized, quarantined, and given large doses of antibiotics. However, he is doing GREAT. His bloodwork is looking very good and he has a big appetite. Her ribs were showing but her belly was huge: she was pregnant. Two days after her rescuer took her in, she gave birth to 13 puppies! Tasha's rescuer already has several dogs of her own, so this has been a big undertaking. Tasha has been an amazing mother to her babies, but they are starting to wean, so they and their mom are now looking for homes! Tasha has put on some weight, and she is healthy and will be spayed soon. She is full of energy and loves to play! Her foster mom says she is a very good dog who gets along well with other dogs.
