Ozzy is a 1 1/2 year old Red Heeler- American Bulldog mix. He is potty trained for both a backyard or apartment, however a backyard is preferred, as he loves to run around and play. He is very playful and fun-loving with a very big personality. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He loves people and would be a great dog for a single person, couple or family with older children. He is not aggressive and has never bitten anybody, however he can be overly playful as he is still a puppy. He is kennel trained, and very responsive to commands. Little to moderate barking compared to most breeds. He is very sweet and loves to nap, play with other dogs, or be an over-sized lapdog.

Dog is good with cats not kittens he is too big and doesn't understand they are fragile. Dog would be fine with another dog as long as it's not another male dog. He is very loving to children. My mother-in-law took him since the person who had him did not have time for him so we are not sure what shot he has had and not had. He is very sweet and loving and is house broke, loves to play with tug a war with the rope and loves toys. My mother-in-law is unable to take care of him anymore due to her health.

My name is Boots. I came to the shelter with my brother and best friend, Patches. We have been together since birth. We used to live with a family with chickens and ducks until we decided we would rather eat them than watch them.Other than birds we are great! We are both completely house trained and slept inside with our family. We would lovea new home without birds and a big yard to run and play in. We both could stand to lose a little weight (especially Patches) and would be great walking buddies. Come by to meet us and see what you think. We are also friendly withother dogs.
