He loves tummy rubs and snuggles once he trusts you. He would be a great watch dog for any single person. would do best as an only pet

i am a 20 pound red dapple dilute male dachshund. I do well so far with all older l human family members but need to be the only pet. I am just 10 years old. i am neutered current on all shots hw and tic disease free and chipped. i am house and doggie door trained and would make an excellent companion pet but caution as i have a lot of dachshund attitude and I DO NOT like to be picked up

Story
Bj is a almost 9 year old male 13 pound. Dachshund. He can be snappy. He is neutered has all his shots and is chipped. he is recovered from heart worms but has taken its tole on his heart. He is on heart meds with a grade 3 heart murmur and enlarged heart. house and crate trained, NO children but does well with other dogs. He needs a quiet home and life style.

6 year old mini chiweenie. He is very scared and can be aggressive until he knows you and feels safe around you. It took 2 weeks for him to trust us but we now snuggle. He is neutered, shots current heart worm negative and tic disease free and chipped. NO Children. Will take a patient person to help him to know that humans are not mean.
