Story
Eddy is such a sweet little boy, we’ve had him since a puppy - about 2 years. It is with a heavy heart that I am typing this, but I think Eddy would be better in a home that has more time for him. He would do great on a farm as he likes to run or a big yard with a fence. He’s 95% potty trained but has been know to mark in the same two areas in our house since before we got him fixed, why he continues to is a mystery. He loves to cuddle and be sweet, he’s great with our 2 year old and other dog and cat and I’m confident he’ll be just as nice to our newborn. I just think he needs more one on one attention that we can’t give him right now. He’s very shy at first as I definitely think he has anxiety and he doesn’t love car rides that much as they upset his tummy. I’m looking for a home that can provide endless patience and love for our sweet boy.

Story
Iver is currently living in a foster home in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. Meet our two beautiful boys: Loki & Iver! They are a bonded pair of brothers. They are each other's 'security blankets' who are looking for a home that is a special as they are and will be open to welcoming them both. Loki & Iver came to us on Christmas Eve from a hording situation. They have had to look out for each other since puppy hood. But, for Christmas they got a new chance to be the dogs there were born to be and they are doing amazing! Now fully vetted, neutered - they are happily living in a foster home with several other dogs of various sizes and ages and they are great with them all. Iver & Loki enjoy the sofa and love their walks and playtime outside. They are joyful to watch together in the large fenced area and also love to run and wrestle with the other dogs in the household. They are still reserved with new human people, but greet new dogs with enthusiasm. They are the welcoming crew for new foster siblings - and the sweetest and most tolerant dog friends an incoming dog could ask for. Iver & Loki have come so far in the the past months and are now pretty much "normal" dogs! They know the household routine and follow it like pros. They love being outside, but are happy when they have chill time inside with the dog and human family too. They like their treats - especially butter (Loki's favorite!). Iver's favorites are chicken jerky and cheese! They have decided that they enjoy car rides and will happily jump right in to see where the people are headed. They have begun to thrive with walks in strange new places. This is something they could not do before, but have taken to with gusto now! They may be a little intimidated at first - but, boy, are they proud of themselves when they are brave and get to see and experience this great world they get to live in. Iver & Loki have short haircoats for husky mixes, so they are easy to groom with an occasional bath and nail trim. They are good for both - and even like to jump in the tub together. These two gentle souls are such a blessing to watch blossom into their wholeness. They are ready for their new adventure: a home of their very own to be spoiled and continue to show off their curious and loving spirits! Given time to bond - they will look to their new people with devotion and trust. What a triumph! They are crate trained (crated together in one crate) and house trained. They thrive with a well fenced yard, which would be safest (and the most fun to play in!). They are husky mixes after all - and we know how huskies love to stretch their legs! Interested in adoption? Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Henry is currently living in a foster home in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Henry was found as a stray in Houston, Texas, hanging out in an abandoned house surrounded by broken glass. It was clear that he did not belong to anyone. Despite being little in size, Henry has a big personality. He leaves an unforgettable impression! He is very fluffy and has a low-rider body and he knows he is adorable! He likes to be the one in charge so he would benefit from having an owner who can be firm (in a positive manner) and consistent. Henry is successful in his foster home when he gets clear limits. He is estimated to be about a year old and can be both a couch potato but will also tear around his foster's fenced-in yard chasing after the other dogs in the home. Despite his short little legs, he really is quick so keeping doorways and entryways secure is important. Henry would love to have a fenced-in yard to hang out in. Henry needs lots of time and space when meeting new people. Thus far he has been unable to interact appropriately with new people, but it is a goal his foster is working on with him. He prefers quieter environments with only one person. He would love a calm home to live in with just one adult as he is a very loyal dog and bonds with that one person really well. Henry would prefer to live in a house, as an apartment building has too many people coming and going. He would love to find an adopter who is a home-body and does not like to host parties or gatherings at their home. If you have children (17 and under) or are planning to have children in the future, Henry is unfortunately not the dog for you. Henry is skeptical of people of both genders, but particularly males. When he trusts you, all he wants to do is have you pet him or cuddle him. To date, Henry has found one person that he trusts. Henry lives with four other dogs in his foster home and does well with them. This is really an area of strength for Henry since he more easily accepts new dogs than people. His favorite playmates are the younger, higher energy dogs in the home as he likes to chase them or wrestle in a friendly manner. Henry also loves all kinds of toys and is treat motivated. Henry has not lived with cats, but he does have a higher prey drive based on other woodland creatures that he encounters. He is looking for an extra special adopter who is willing to be his best friend. Henry needs someone who can commit to living a lifestyle that suits him. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. He is very dog social as he lives with a variety of dogs in his foster home. He had the opportunity to meet a dog-friendly cat and did really well with her. Frito is crate trained and uses the dog door in his foster home in Texas. His foster describes him as a lap-loving, social butterfly. Frito is a young pup who is about five months old and currently weighs 12 pounds, so will most likely stay in the smaller weight range. He is available for adoption in Wisconsin. Story
Bo is currently living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin. Bo is a gorgeous 10 year-old black German Shepherd that was surrendered to Paddy's Paws due to no fault of his own. He was surrendered to us in horrible condition and needed some medical attention to an eye/skin infection. After 2+ weeks of care in a foster home and getting updated on vaccinations, he is all ready to find a forever home! Bo is hilarious, he doesn't know his size or his age! He is an active large dog breed that is known for their intelligence! He knows many commands (name, sit, shake, stay) and is very happy to please. His perfect home is one that appreciates the German Shepherd breed, can give him the care and exercise he wants. He is strong, loves to play ball and go for walks. A fenced in area to run and play would be ideal. Bo is such a mature older man, he gets to free roam his foster home with no potty issues. The ideal home for Bo would have a fenced in yard for him to run and play. He would do great as the only dog in the family or meet the other family dog with a very slow introduction period.
