Story
We are lazy people, better suited for lap cats. We adopted Nate when we were told he was a lab/border collie mix(ya, I know, not a lazy lap dog mix but we had one before and he was awesome). But it turns out he is a very energetic terrier/basenji mix. Lots of energy. He would be good for an active family who like to move, go running, walking, to dog parks. He would be great at agility or barn hunts. Just not good for sitting in the recliner binging Netflix. He has not been around young children so he would be better with kids over ten who have been around animals and can respect boundaries. He does like other dogs and cats but sometimes will chase a cat, which ours does not like. He also has a hunting instinct so he will catch mice if they do get in. He is affectionate and loving, doesn't bark much but will let you know if someone is at the door!

Story
He’s 4 years old and about 55 pounds very loyal and playful. Takes naps a lot goes for walks very well he needs time to warm up to people but does come around and loves everyone he meets. Don’t like other dogs or cats is protective of his house and family sleeps in bed and is house trained has a problem with stuff left in the open likes to play with everything. Very curious dog but very cuddly likes to see you at all times. If you had kids and miss the feeling of being needed he’s for you no more privacy to a point likes to follow you everywhere. Knows how to sit, shake and lay down currently working on staying. He’s a good dog needs a good I’m a semi driver and work 3rd shift and usually work 14 hours a day.
