shyClaire, Andie, Mitchell and their dad Fredrick came to us from a small shelter in Texas. They were going to be euthanized for being feral. We brought them to Missouri and have been socializing them They are very sweet dogs and would do best with dog friends and an adopter who has experience with shy dogs.

Scooter is a 15 year old Corgi/Chihuahua mix. He loves to be with his people and will follow you around the house. He loves to cuddle and gets a long well with cats, dogs, and birds. He does not like to be picked up and will growl/bite sometimes when you try. The vet believes it is because it hurts him. To get him on the bed and couch, we use ramps and steps or have him walk onto a pillow or small dog bed and we lift up the pillow or bed to get him where he needs to go. He cannot be with small children and he needs to have a fenced in yard. Scooter is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and just had a dental. He is located in St. Peters, MO. We do not adopt farther out than a 1 hour drive because we do home visits. We also do vet checks to make sure your pets are up to date on vaccinations and fixed. Story
Barnaby is a young male who is looking for a safe forever home. He is about 10 pounds and is about 1 yr old. This boy is very sweet and really wants to trust someone. He tends to be afraid of men so a single woman may be best to be his mom. With time, he will trust and love you enormously. We are not sure of his past as he was brought in by animal control. But, his foster mom says he is opening up more and more every day. Barnaby loves to play so if you have another dog who could be a sibling for him, he would love that. He does not discriminate and loves all dogs, big or small. We are currently making strides towards leash walking and potty training. Since he is young, we know he will master these things very quickly. We can already see he is very smart.
