Hi, my name is Haven!The GHS Family thinks I'm awesome because I am a bouncy ball of love and energy and snuggles - can I have a pet? Can I? Can I?! I just love to explore and would make a great adventure buddy. They also keep telling me how smart and handsome I am, but maybe they are biased.My future family should know that I just LOVE to chew things - toys, bones, socks (they're just so tasty!) - so my new family will need to do a bit of dog proofing around the house to make sure I don't get into everything. I have never lived with children before but I am a pretty friendly guy, so a home with mature children who can respect me and give me time to get to know what the "tiny humans" are all about would be best. I have done well with a lot of dogs on playdates so I could do well living with a canine friend. I'm pretty curious about cats, sometimes I might sniff a little too much or chase them; a home without cats or with a dog-savvy cat would be best for me. To set me up for success - to work on my manners - my new owner(s) will need to be willing to sign me up for training with a GHS pre-approved trainer prior to taking him home. The shelter is presently closed due to COVID, however if you are interested in me please send an email to adoptions@guelphhumane.ca. Thank you for considering me in your home!
