I am an honorary Basset named Fannie Mae. The best guess is that I am mostly, if not all, Foxhound. My foster mom is really curious so she sent off some swabs for a DNA test. I can't wait to see the results!I am a sweet, calm, laid-back lady of about 9 years. I came to BROOD after I was found to be living in some pretty bad conditions with an owner who wasn't taking care of me properly. I am so grateful to have a second chance now at a happy life and can't wait to meet my forever family.I am house-trained, crate-trained, and can use a doggie dog. I love going on long walks around the neighborhood to meet new friends. I am very quiet. In fact, my foster mom said it was a few weeks before I barked at all and then it was because I saw foxes outside through the window. I love people and children and would be best in a home with kids older than 10 as I am a pretty sound sleeper and don't like to be startled awake by sudden noise or movement. I would do well as an only dog as well as an apartment dweller, as long as I got in lots of walk time. ! I'd love to have a home with a fenced-in yard for me to run and play in.I am so easy to love and care for, happy all the time and ready to live my best life! Please contact BROOD today!!!
