Story
Koda is an amazing dog whose very loyal and loving, quirky and loves to run. We are having to rehome him because he has some behavioral issues. He has some fear aggression, is territorial of his yard and home and is very protective of the people he loves. He can be around cats preferably lazy cats and female dogs. He needs to be in a home with no kids only until recently has he started trying to nip young children. He needs an experienced owner who can help him overcome his triggers but all in all hes a great dog once you get past his behavioral issues. I wish we could keep him but i feel w are no longer what he needs and doing more harm than good for him meaning he needs something are giving him because arent sure what else to do for him. We have taken him to a trainer and they have told us he has alot of potential just needs alot of work. I really hope we can find him his perfect forever home or even a temporary foster to help him with what he needs.

Story
Meet Chase! He has had a rough start in life and still looks it but won't for long. His hair is growing back and he has lots of playful energy! This boy is something else! For not knowing his past, he is so good in the house, doesn't like going into his crate but once in it he settles in for the stay, he is house trained and knows the doggy door. Never once considered going in the house. He gets along with the other dogs but he does have a jealous streak when other dogs go up to his human, especially male dogs. With that said he either needs to be an only dog OR he needs some patience in training him to share. He sleeps on his bed beside the human bed all night or will gladly sleep with his human if allowed. Chase is a very good boy and has a lot of filling out and growing to do. Guessing he is around 10-11 months old. Please consider giving this great boy a furever home. Apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Your Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $170 adoption and $160 transportation = $330. Thank you for considering adopting a southern dog.

Story
Bane is a very sweet and loving 4-year-old German Shepard. He loves being around his owner, cuddling and LOVES to play. However, Bane requires an adult-only household, with a secure fenced in yard, and an owner who is experienced with his breed. While Bane is very loving and super sweet with his owners, he seems to attach himself to one person and becomes very possessive. We adopted him off of this website around Thanksgiving, and he has completely attached himself to me. However, during this time he has become very possessive and will growl at family members if they get too close to me. I am rehoming him because he has begun growling and barking at my 8-year-old in this manner and I'm afraid he may bite. Even when playing he has a very strong bite, so it's something I'm very concerned about. Because of this Bane absolutely cannot go to a home with children, and I would say he would do best in a home with older adults only.

Story
Amazing family dog. Loves his toys and being outdoors, hikes, and runs. Very active breed. Has one shot that is expired but up to date with the rest. Does good in crate but would do best with someone who has time to spend with him. Walks well on leash. We currently live in a small apartment and both work full time so someone that has a home with a yard would be perfect for him. He does very well around our infant and toddler. He’s the perfect companion, but we know he deserves someone who has the time to stay active with him and give him the space he deserves
