Story
Hi my name is Bell. I was previously owned, but they didn't have time for me and kept me in a crate all the time, so kennels are my safe space now. I never got to meet a lot of people or other animals so am pretty shy. I love to eat but apparently I have quite a few more pounds to lose according to the vet. I would love a family that will be patient with me and help me overcome my fears and shyness.

Story
I have had Simba since he was a puppy. He is a super sweet boy just loves to cuddle and play. When I got him I thought I would be moving out of my apartment, but have been unable to do so and will be in it for at least another year. Due to my extensive work/travel schedule, he doesn't get to get out and play very much and spends most of his time in a kennel. While I love him, the best thing for him would be to be somewhere where he can run and have a lot more time to play.

Story
Max is an incredible youngster who will do his best to protect his home and family. He is obedient and understands the no command. He weighs 53 pounds and considers himself the perfect lap dog. He loves being petted. He enjoys running and walks but doesn't understand walking on a leash yet. He thinks he needs to jump up. He is used to being in a room during the day and is still working on house training so please be patient with him. He loves toys and doesn't need you to throw a ball for him. He does it himself. He is a social butterfly who thrives on companionship and doesn't like being alone. He is submissive and wary of strangers. He is friendly and playful dogs but cats make him nervous. He wants to play with dogs he meets during walks. At the shelter he has shown some dominance when interacting with other dogs so if you have one you'll need to bring it to meet him.He is being given up because his family moved and he couldn't go with them. He only got intro trouble for begging, jumping up, and running away. He is friendly and playful with children but is too rough for little ones. Kids will need to be at least 12 years old. Please offer fun-loving Max the home and family he needs. (tw 5/3/2024)Click "Play" to meet Max.This animal has been available at the shelter for more than 30 days and is now considered a VIP. The adoption fee is 50% off! -jc (5/9/24)
