Story
Hi there, I’m Samantha, owner of Peyton Marie, a 4 year old female Great Pyrenees/Jack Russell Terrier mix. I’m very sad but Peyton unfortunately needs a new home because I no longer have time for her. Peyton does have a few behavioral issues caused by other dogs where we live. Food aggression mostly. Peyton also does not like to visit the vet. Peyton is a good guard dog to ward off any dangers or threats. She loves being outside (which she cannot do here because the neighbor constantly calls animal control for her barking). Peyton is a good dog for the right people/person, she needs the attention she deserves. She does have double dew claws, which she does not like to be touched. Peyton loves snuggling & loves being able to do what she wants.. she could use some firmness. She listens to basic commands such as sit or paw. Not so much with “come” though. She doesn’t like baths.. or water at all. She just needs a better home than I can give her.

Sex: Male Breed: Great Pyr/Lab Mix DOB: January 2014 Weight: 100 lbs Adoptable in MA and NH Percy is a handsome and big boy who is looking for a dog savy home. He can be nervous around strangers, especially men, for that reason we recommend a home without children or other animals. Percy will need a home that will help him with his training, where he has structure and lots of exercise. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at survivortails.org or email adoptions@survivortails.org with any questions

Story
We are a foster based rescue and thus do not have a facility where all of our rescues are kept. Our foster based program allows for dogs a loving home environment similar to the one they will hopefully be adopted to. We have foster homes in multiple geographic areas. Nate is a handsome 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix that is ready for a fabulous home. His owner had him since he was six weeks old but due to her moving back in with her mother, she can't keep him. He is a tall guy but only weighs about 60 pounds. Nate loves the dog park and his foster family takes him on many hikes. He has energy to hike all day or is happy to chill beside you on a rainy day. He is agile and athletic and seems to have the Pyr temperament. We love that his coat is scruffy which makes him even more unique. He is a friendly guy and would love to go for hikes or runs if his owner enjoyed these activities. He knows sit and shake as well. He is fine to lay around until you want him to go for a walk or when you are ready for an a run or hike he has the energy needed to accompany you effortlessly! Nate's foster family does take him to the dog park which he enjoys. He just loves running up and greeting everyone and following the dogs around. Nate has been great with all of the other dogs he has been around but remember that he does have the PYR temperament and they tend to lay down the law when needed. Nate likes to play with toys and flips them in the air over and over again. On walks if he finds soft grass he will roll and act like a goofball. He can catch a treat mid air too! Please research the Pyrenees breed as Nate seems true to the breed! We adore Nate but know that Pyrenees can be stubborn and obstinate! But if you are a PYR lover, you will love Nate! Story
Meet Sandy and Ranger. This beauty of a gal is about 4 years old and a sweetie. She goes hand in hand with Ranger as they are very attached. Their current owners have their hands full with a house full of children and the husband/father will be away for a year. Just too much for a young mother to handle so we are helping them find a new home. Since they are so attached, we will be placing them together. Sandy is about 35 pounds and is the lady in charge of Ranger. She knows to go to bed in her kennel, sit, go eat and a few other commands. Ranger knows the same and is the follower of the two. He is easy peasy and a go with the flow type of Bassador. Ranger is about five years old and weighs a similar weight as Sandy but she just sits lower! They both are housetrained. They enjoy spending time outdoors in their fenced yard and also inside hanging out with the children. They come from a very loving home and their family just wants them to have someone who can spend more quality of time with them. If you would like to learn more about them and receive an adoption application, email storkwoods@comcast.net. This is the most reliable way to get an application. We have fosters both in TN and in the North East area and have transports available as well. We are a non profit rescue trying to help as many fur babies into fabulous homes as we can! Hopefully your home will be one of them! EMAIL STORKWOODS@COMCAST.NET
