Story
Paris was born around November 2006. She weighs around 50 pounds and has a medium activity level.  Paris is crate trained, leash trained and housebroken.  She is good with other dogs and unknown about cats.  Paris is sweet and affectionate.  She enjoys going for walks and playing in the yard with her friends  She would do best in a home without young children due to her timidness.  She is shy at first so she needs someone to work with her, once she opens up its tail wags, belly rubs and kisses. If interested in adopting Paris please fill out application at www.lifelongfriends.org/adoptions. Please note we only adopt in Texas and all family members must meet Paris prior to approval.

Story
Jasper is an incredibly loving dog that really loves his pack, especially human members. He loves giving hugs, sometimes unexpected but we're working on that. He loves to wrestle and play with other dogs especially his brother, Silas. He's a very easy going eager to please and get lovings from people, almost anyone. He'd be a great family dog and most likely do very well with kids other than not knowing his own size. Does fine with a cat in the home other than showing interest here and there.

Story
Meet Winona, affectionately known as "Winnie," a delightful all-white female dog with a heart as pure as her fur. Winnie is a playful and loving companion, especially with resident dogs and those she's familiar with. While she may be shy and timid around new people or dogs, her friendly nature shines through once she warms up to them. Winnie's endearing personality extends to her interactions with humans. She's a doll, allowing playful gestures and never jumping. Her pure, happy spirit is evident as she seeks to please her human companions, showcasing a big, goofy side that's sure to bring smiles. This sweet pup knows how to express her affection, often placing her paw on you and gazing with adoration until she receives pets. Winnie's love for attention extends to her interactions with kids, making her an excellent fit for families. Winnie also lives with 2 cats. She typically ignores them or will sometimes excitedly chase them in a non aggressive way. It can be a mixed bag with her, but she does not have an agressive bone in her body! Winnie is crate trained and knows "sit and "off. She is still young though and has a fair amount of energy, so she will need consistent walks and activities to help burn some of the puppy energy she still has! Winnie's ideal home would include another playful dog to help keep her entertained. She would also thrive with humans who love a great mix of an oversized lap dog, with the active pup she is to take on hikes and adventures. Winnie wants nothing more than her human to give her endless amounts of pets and attention. If this sounds like you, please inquire about a meet and greet!

Story
Are you an adventure lover in need of a sidekick? Then look no further than Tara! This black and white speckled beauty loves to explore in the great outdoors. Whether you're in the mood for a swim, run, hike or just a leisurely stroll, Tara is up for it! If the weather's not cooperating, she likes to exercise her brain, learning new skills through training. She's already mastered "sit, "lay down and "kennel up". While she loves to be active, Tara knows the importance of rest and relaxation. She's happy to spend her days napping or entertaining herself with toys. She loves attention from her people and is especially fond of chest scratches, but she isn't needy about it. She's a well-behaved houseguest -- perfectly housetrained and trustworthy when left home alone. Tara could potentially live with a well-matched small dog, but she would thrive as the only pet in an adult-only home. (Kids can be pretty scary to her, so she prefers to hang with the grown-ups). She'd love a house with a yard to run around in, but she's flexible. So if you're looking for a reason to get outside and get moving, let Tara be your motivation. Every adventure is sure to be greater with this sweetie by your side!

Story
Meet Spinach, a charming and playful pup with a unique feature - he has only one eye! But don't let that fool you, as he is full of energy and loves to play tug of war and chase flies in the great outdoors. His goofiness is sure to keep you entertained, especially when he tries to clumsily jump on the couch or shows his excitement through hilarious facial expressions. Spinach is a well-trained dog, he is house-trained and has mastered the "sit" command. He responds well to positive reinforcement and is highly motivated by food... aren't we all? However, Spinach needs to live in a household with adults and kids old enough to respect his space when he is eating and understand that he doesn't like to share his things. But don't let that discourage you, as he is a loyal and loving companion who will make an amazing buddy on walks and romps around the backyard.
