Name: GeneiveAge: 1 year Size: medium Dogs: yes Cats: adult cats yes Kids: good with babies and kids ?? Hello everyone, I'm Geneive ??I am a very energetic girl who loves to play and is full of fun! I'm still young and I'm still learning new things. I may be a bit shy at first and take some time to warm up to new things . My foster parents work with me and help me become more comfortable and confident. I am fine with other dogs but am totally fine with being by myself as well . I may be a little picky on my treats, but have found some I love . I'm really good in my kennel and I don't bark or whine unless I need to use the bathroom. I am really good at being inside as well and just like to hang out most days and relax . Once I'm outside the energetic side of me comes out and wants to run around and explore. I am very good on my leash and harness and love going for walks or running. I also like to using my husky working talent and pull my foster parent's baby around on her sled. They guide me on how fast I can go and where to go . I enjoy spending time with them. I am also really good in the car . I am learning how to shake a paw and some tricks . Im just the best girl and with time and patience I will continue to impress . If you would like to meet me and see if I am a good fit with your family. Please fill out the adoption application.

Quinn1 1/2 yrs oldGood with dogsGood with Cats Good with KidsHi, I'm Quinn! I'm a young girl with a big heart. I may be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I promise to be your best friend. I'm a fan of playtime and I love making new friends, whether they're humans, dogs, or even kids. I've even tried to play with cats, though they're not always as enthusiastic. My recall is pretty good too, so you won't have to worry about me wandering off. I'm looking for a forever home with another confident canine companion where I can share my love and playful spirit. If you're looking for a loyal, friendly, and playful companion, then I'm your girl! Let's make some beautiful memories together.

Story
Hi, my name is Trixie and I'm a beautiful, well behaved girl who would be the best furry companion. I've been passed around a lot but my foster mom says that's just because I haven't gone to the right home for me yet, because I'm really no trouble at all and am happy just to lie nearby. I'm a good girl when left alone in the house, walk great on leash, love car rides, never bark and know all the basic commands including a few tricks which I will happily entertain you with! I'm great with people big and small, but I don't like cats and I'm pretty selective about other dogs so should be the only pet in the home. I'm pretty agile and can scale fences easily so I would need a little extra vigilance when in the yard or I might go for a little adventure. Keep me safe and I will repay you a hundred fold with my good behaviour and unconditional love. Story
Hello there, I'm Duke! A young chap, as sweet as honey, and friendly as can be. My buddy Ace and I are quite the pair. We're like the canine version of Laurel and Hardy, only less clumsy, I promise! How did I find myself with BARS? Well, you see, Ace and I were found wandering all on our own and ended up in the pound. We weren't claimed, I know, shocking right?? so the nice people at BARS took us in. Our foster mom says we are the nicest boys. I'm smart, I learn fast. I'm also gentle, playful, and cuddly. I'd love a home with Ace or another dog. Why adopt me? Because life is better with a little Duke in it!Good with dogs: yesGood with cats? NEW ADOPTION PROCESS: Please fill in the Dog Lifestyle Survey found on the How to Adopt page on www.calgaryhumane.ca (please include my name and animal reference number) and e-mail it to adopt@calgaryhumane.ca if you are interested in adopting me! Serious inquiries only.AWOOOOO!! Hey there, I'm Zeus and I'm looking for the perfect home to call my own. The ideal family for me would have dog experience and be able to provide me with plenty of exercise. Leashed walks, hikes, swims, I can't wait to go on so many different adventures with you! Now don't let my age fool you, I still like to play - squeaky toys and tug-o-war are my favourite! I'm a bit shy of new people and new situations and take some time to warm up, so I would prefer to be in a home with kids 15+. Also, I would love to be the only pooch in the home and potentially may be okay with dog savvy cats. I'm still working on my manners, but have already learned to sit, give a paw and lay down so a class like ‘Polite Pooches' would be a really good fit for me! Did you know I have, like the best singing voice? I sure think so! I love to sing and tell stories all day long, so I would do best in a detached home. No apartments, townhouses or duplexes for a fella like me. Do we sound like the right match? Then don't delay, contact CHS today!

Story
This boy loves people! He is very attached to his buddy A749711. We are requesting that they get adopted to the same family. We are offering a 2 for 1 special for an adopter who is able to adopt both Rocky and A749711. He is very good with this dog but does not like other dogs especially males. If he is adopted by himself then he must be the only dog in the home. He has a history of impound so would need a fenced yard and would not be a candidate for off-leash parks.
