Pretty Willow is a huge goofball. You just never know what she will do next. (typical Husky) She gives you this look, stares at you, then decides okay, I am going to make you chase me or she will just sit there and wait to see what you do. One sudden move and off she goes. Her lucky adopter will have to keep up with this energetic girl. If you're the lucky adopter you will need to have patience while she warms up to you. It does take her awhile but once she does, look out! She will show you how smart, funny and lovable she is. Her foster mom says, â&#194&#128&#194&#156she is the smartest husky Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve ever been around,â&#194&#128 and this foster mom has fostered countless pups. Recently, Willow learned high five and roll over. Wonder what else this girl knows? We canâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t wait to see more! Because of Willowâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s strong personality, she will not be good small dogs, cats or children under 12. She is selective of other dogs and ideally would be a single dog home. But donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t let this deter you, Willow is one of a kind.

Balto was rescued from Chicago Animal Control after his family left him there because they were moving. He has had a hard time adjusting to losing his family but is starting to come out of his funk. He likes to play with other dogs and loves his walks. Not recommended for small children. He is very curious about squirrels and cats so recommended not to be in a home with small animals. He loves his walks and loves treats! Help find Balto a home that will give him the love and attention he deserves in his golden years. Still a very active pup for his age and will give a family lots to love about him.

Lorelai came into us, pregnant, from a puppy mill that shut down. She was so young when she had her puppies - she was almost a puppy still herself. She came to us very skittish and shy and while she has come leaps and bounds in her foster home, her background of neglect from the puppy mill is coming with her. She can get scared in new situations and with new people and does take a bit to warm up to people. But once she does, she lets her personality shine, which is crazy, active, silly and smart and often mischievous. She knows not to jump on you to say hi, but sometimes she just cannot help it. She knows the garbage is off limits, but you know, sometimes there is just something so wonderful in there that she thinks she needs to bend the rules a bit. She loves toys, and stuffies are her favorites, but she still thinks eating them is a fun thing to do so only certain toys are Lorelai OK'd at this point. Because she thinks anything left out is hers, we do not want young children in the home. Toys and stuffed animals left out will be appropriated and eaten. We are looking for a home for Lorelai that has lots of patience, understands that routine is the key to her comfort and that has at least one other dog for her to gain confidence and learn from. Now that her pups are adopted and in wonderful homes, it is her turn. She is not going to be a super easy dog at first but we guarantee that all the love you put into her will be given back tenfold.

Thor is a young, energetic boy with ice blue eyes who loves to play, but also loves a good snuggle on the couch. He enjoys playing with his Siberian Husky foster sister all day long and often wears her out! Thor is a bundle of energy and would make a great running partner. He needs an outlet for all of his energy; otherwise he tends to get into mischief. Thor will need a home that can give him lots of activity and lots of structure. He is working on his manners in his foster home, but due to the strict structure that he needs, we are looking for an adult only home for him. Thor would be fine as a single dog or with a female dog as a companion (no males, please). Thor is an affectionate guy and at times, forgets his size as he tries to fit into your lap! He is housebroken and crate trained. This special guy needs a special home who is willing to work with him to develop him into the amazing dog he has the potential to be.
