Cozmo is on the shy side when meeting new people. We don’t know his history, but perhaps a difficult past has something to do with his reservations. With some time, patience, and treats, however, Cozmo comes out of his shell. He has already come a long way here at the center, making friends with volunteers and staff.Volunteers who take Cozmo on walks have reported that Cozmo is a total gentleman. He is house trained and a loose-leash walker who doesn’t pull when he sees other dogs, squirrels, or people. When in a play yard with other doggie friends, he is extremely gentle and polite. His ideal family would be willing to go slow and give Cozmo the time he needs to feel comfortable. Cozmo would likely do well in a home with other polite pets. The noise and hustle and hustle and bustle of the shelter is a lot for this sensitive boy to handle, so he is truly hoping to go to a quiet and calm home with his forever family as soon as possible.
