Story
Cherokee came from an area neighborhood known for loose dogs and way too many pregnant ones. Her Mom was mostly Black Lab, father unknown. We had to trap her to save her life. We think she will be under 50 lbs at full maturity. It has been a long road of socialization but Cherokee wants to please and is so anxious to be loved. She now walks on a leash, loves her roommate Peanut (another female) and is now ready for the next stage in her life- a permanent and loving home. We had some 6th graders visit and she loved their attention. She has her wings now and is ready to fly off to a new adventure. Giving her a home will be the most awesome experience. From feral to family friendly....that is a great success story already and you can help write her next chapter. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
This is my sons dog and he accepted a new job in OK and has no room for Ruger. Its a hard decision to give him up but my wife works full time and I drive a truck so I am away a lot. Ruger is very playful, loves to chase after a ball or really anything you throw and play with him. He thinks he is a lap dog when we are able to bring him in but just needs a little time with someone to house train him, he knows already not to potty in the house and lets you know when he needs to go out, just very energetic because hes not in all the time and needs a family to spend time with him. He is really good around kids, adults and other dogs, not aggressive that we have seen and he has been around several other dogs of all sizes before my son had to leave for OK. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks in advance. Brian

Story
Shanti loves to play and loves affection. She loves to run and she is super smart. She is crate trained and rings a bell to go outside/potty. She loves going on car rides and is great on vacations/camping. A dog biscuit signals crate time and she eagerly crates herself. She loves pools and will swim with you. She is full of energy and very loving. She’ll lay beside you when watching movies and likes to go to bed (in her crate) at 10:00. She’s quiet and very curious. She has broken her two bottom canines her first year but we’ve had no issues with that and the vet has checked her out thoroughly. Because of having to travel for my job and being away weeks at a time there is nobody to care for her and I feel that kenneling her that much is unfair to her. She needs a good, loving home with people that will be around regularly. This has been a hard decision for our family, we’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old...but we want what’s best for her and don’t feel like we can offer that anymore
