We adopted Nala from the Harris County shelter. We were told she was about 5 years old however she acts more like a puppy and has grown in size since we adopted her. She is very active and we are unable to give her the attention she needs due to our infant child being diagnosed with a chronic illness. She is very sweet, good with kids and other animals. We do not want to take her back to the shelter and hoping to find her a home where she can get the love and attention she needs! She is house trained and kennel trained as well.

**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Greetings from Corridor Rescue - it’s me, Odessa! I just wanted to check in and share my pretty amazing rescue story! I was spotted on the streets a while ago with my friend Bo. Living on the streets made me wary of humans, so when I arrived at the kennel facility I was pretty timid. It didn't take long for me to understand that these people aren't so bad! I even won the hearts of some volunteers that spoil me. They even bought me my very own couch for my kennel! Also, I have been reunited with one of my former street mates - Bo! How cool is that - that we both ended up here? We even share a kennel and get to take walks together. Everyone says we're adorable. From living here I have learned to open up, learned to play and talk, and learned that I LOVE car rides! I LOVE belly rubs too! Although while living here at the kennel I've become very comfortable, I am still a bit timid around strangers.. so please take your time to get to know me to see if I’m the right companion for you! I am a very well behaved girl, good with older kids, clean in my kennel, but I do not like thunderstorms! I do need some comfort during a thunderstorm ..but I promise I am an awesome cuddle bug! Although I love my friends here - I would very much love a home and family to call my own! Interested in meeting me ? **This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hello, I'm Fantasia, although everyone here calls me Fanny or Fanny Packs. I'm not sure why, maybe because when they found me I had some extra, in the form of a giant lump. It was a total bummer. But they got me all fixed up! Which is awesome and now I even get to go on walks once in a while and play with my friend Lucille. I am pretty shy though. It just takes me a while to trust that you're going to be nice to me. It does help if you have hot dog pieces though! Shhh, don't tell the ladies I'm on to the tricks, it's just so tasty! And for so long I was on my own and didn't get tasty treats like that. They tell me that it will be harder for me to find a forever home being all shy and all, but I can't help you. Maybe you understand, sometimes it's just hard to trust humans! They say maybe I could go somewhere with other friendly dogs and a human who 'gets me.'
