LOVES KIDS!
Approx weight 40-45 lbs
Needs physical fenced in yard to apply
As with any dog I adopt out, I always have a return policy. If for whatever reason, the dog needs re-homed it needs to come back to me.
That is what happened with Lola.
Lolas family adopted her from me Sept 2018. At that time she was about 4 months old. She was returned through no fault of her home. The family dynamics changed and the primary care giver has been working extremely long hours due to the virus. It was the best decision to return her and heart breaking for the family. Of course, I welcomed this girl back and here we are looking for her new home.
She was very well taken care of, groomed, much loved and came with a complete " Lola" care package for her new home. She also came with her own bed, bowls and what food is left will go home with her too. Currently eating Iams.
She loves kids and her former home had a 5 year old and 2 year old. Actually she will warm up to kids quicker than adults.
The former family requested she have a physical fenced in yard and I think that would be best too. No invisible fencing for her please.
Her perfect home would be: physical fenced in yard, a patient home and preferably with kids. She loves kids. If you have another dog in the home, that would be great too.
She can walk on a leash, is house broken ( please give her time to adjust ) and crate trained.
When I had Lola ( September 2018 ) as an older pup ( approx 4 months old or so ). If I remember correctly she was on the shy side, although she did warm up to her family rather quickly.
As an adult now, she is shy meeting adults but loves kids. If you adopt her, please plan on meeting a shy adult doodle who is just going to take sometime to adjust. She would never bite or be mean, thats just not her, she is what I call a
" big chicken". Maybe lacks a little self confidence but she will bond with you, she will just bond with the kids quicker.
I have only had her a few days now, she has bonded with me nicely inside but not outside yet.
I have noticed a little bit of submissive peeing when I approach her. I did ask her former owners about that and this is their response. It was not a regular thing, If someone new came to the house and tried to approach her, she would. But then again it was rare.
I think she just lacks some self confidence.
The pics I took are current photos ( she had a hair cut ) , the last pics or so was when she was a puppy. She is white/light cream in color.
Vet care: she was spayed back in 2018, She is current on her rabies, h w test, 5 way and canine influenza, she has been kept on h w preventative ( sentinel size 26-50 lbs ) and was last given on 3-30-20. She has one more left which will be due on 4-30-20 and will go home with her.
The vet paperwork will go home with her. However, her vacs are going to expire on 4-18-20 so yes, they are right around the corner to being due. I did update her bordatella vaccine so that wont be needed.
She is ready for a new home anytime.
Her fee will be very reasonable. She is currently in my boarding facility.
